Will I ever get a job?

I'm sorry to be blunt, but you need to stop wallowing in self pity, as no one is going to employ you with an attitude like that.
Shyness and confidence are separate things. You can be shy AND confident.
Go out to the high street, and find a job advert that's posted in a window somewhere, go in the shop/bar or wherever it is, ask to speak to someone about the job, and see how it goes.
I'm a shy person and I've got an interview in a couple of weeks time and have to give a presentation to a panel of 4!! I'm terrified, but I have nothing to lose by giving it a go!
Oh yeah if you know it all. What should I do?0 -
What about volunteering? It shows your willing to work and gaining some experience. Its how I landed my dream job as a zoo keeper. I never went to uni/college but I did show them I was willing to learn and get my hands dirty.0/2013

I will be willing to volunteer but in a admin role.0 -
I did admin voluntary work for the CAB, see if you have a local Volunteer Centre. If not write/e-mail to them they have contact details on their website or write to local charities..0

10 rejections is nothing some people apply for sometimes upto 12 jobs a day so there are lots of people in worse situation's than what your in, they cannot pay there mortgage ect due to not being able to find work.
Be grateful you have your age and a roof over your head. It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -

How about contacting charity's then? They have admin that needs done and most will be happy to take on a volunteer. A few charities around my way are often looking for admin volunteers. Where about do you stay? Try gumtree or on direct gov there is a volunteer section.

I applied to volunteer in CAB. There is a local one near me. Did you email them and did they reply back to you? It sounds great. But I hope they reply back. Will this help me with getting a job in admin?0 -

Hi there, I think its important to remember that it can be difficult to get a job at the moment - however, its not your fault!
Its just that there are less jobs and that means more people looking so standards can be high and you may need to look at novel ways of making yourself more appealing to employers.
The best way to deal with this I think is to try offering a variety of skills.
For example, have you considered doing some voluntary work - it would be good to have that on your cv - sometimes charities look for office workers. Have a look online. Ring a few local ones that would save you travel costs. This would perhaps give you more confidence and also more experience
It also helps you to meet new people and boost your self-esteem.
It shows that you are keen to get work too which is what employers are looking for - that you are a hard worker and can use your initiative. Put that all on your CV and it can be very impressive.
Please also try not to blame yourself and believe that you can and will get a job!!! like someone above mentioned a positive attitude is essential.
You already have attained some good grades so be confident in yourself and your current course and make it happen
very best of luck
