you really have to keep haggling the sales person at dell , i went through about 7 people until i found a sales person that was willing. sorry i have no quote number plus dell just put the price up on this spec yesterday from 668.99 to 730 also say you are a firsttime buyer and they may give you a 80 pound discount.
hey wolfman (or any other pc techies) u seem to know your stuff on computers as there is no vista reinstallation cd for vista that comes with this system what is the first thing i should do and use regarding back up etc incase my pc goes belly up

also downgrade from 2gbram to 1gb brings the price down further0 -
i placed the order when it was 668.99 then got the firstbuy discount and downgraded the ram
the extension number is 74708 (i think)
but honestly i think now it has gone to 730 i really doubt ull get it to 575 at this present time0 -
