Try a diff company I only got charged £35 and it was so worth it. Now trying to keep on top of it by wiping out after each use
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

I know you will probably laugh at such a simple suggestion, but have you used bicarb?
I swear that stuff is a miracle in a jar.
I won't tell you how long my oven was left uncleaned, but I sprinkled over a thick layer of bicarb, misted it with water. Repeated the process and left it and then came back with a scraper and loads of kitchen towel and all that burnt-on disgusting gunk came off.

it was so easy, no horrible chemicals and free............

the inside of my oven is a grey marble and I never knew - I thought it was black <hangs head in shame>

Thanks will try it. Had forgotten, hav used it before for many other things, just hate the white powder it leaves.

Any ideas for the glass door carbon marks??

I did the same on the glass door - ours lifts out, so I laid it on the floor and did the same.
You could use a razor blade to scrape it, perhaps?
The white powder is annoying - but you can use either vinegar and water in a plant mister or whatever spray cleaners you have to rinse that off with.

let us know if it works for you.
Failing that - good old sugar soap gets most things clean. (you'll need to ventilate well and use gloves for that though)

I think it is the stuff you can use for decorating purposes - ie washing before painting - you would be able to get it in DIY shop

It's pretty good on the oven door glass, but you're right, it probably wouldn't touch the oven.

My oven is pretty bad so I'd be interested in seeing what others say (I'll try the bicarb suggestion...thanks bigpaws23!). If you've got a dishwasher, then try putting the oven shelves in - mine have returned to their original sparkly shiny colour, but the oven still defeats me!
