Loo overflowing into pan. Help solving please?

    I do suspect one problem may be the big washer as the fat pipe thing in the middle is loose.
    So thats where the leak is coming from then. Get it properly fixed so that it stops then you can address the whistling sound.

    Oh and if you are going to replace the fill valve rather than just the diaphragm for heavens sake don't fit a Torbeck as the video would seem to suggest. Go for a Fluidmaster Pro.

  • water going into the pan when water level is low, fit a new syphon, flush valve, flap valve whatever you want to call it, cistern fills up too much with no more adjustment fit a new ballvalve, it's simple why do some people on here make life so difficult, BTW if it's a close coupled pan & cistern ALWAYS fit a new "dounut" washer if you don't it WILL leak then you have to take the cistern off again.
    I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
