What an absolutely ridiculous thing to say.

I have reported your post due to the offence it causes me being my long lost aunties brothers son's neighbours dog was gay.

    Shame on you.

Who? I don't think niddy lost any respect. He still has more than you or are you too thick to see that?

Yea you have your little pals that thank thank thank but Niddys gone on to much better but here you are, left in the shadows under a pompous journalists debt encouragement crappy forum.

Hope you like it here lol

    This is truly hilarious.

I had many a run in with your messiah when he populated this forum with his inane sermons, and had to correct his knowledge on several occasions. I remember one particularly funny instance where he had managed to convince himself that a credit agreement could not, under any circumstances, be called a 'credit agreement' in the title (inevitably leading to his flawed advice that the OP at the time did not have to repay said agreement).

Unfortunately he was unable to control his own ego which led to frequent childish outbursts to those who didnt agree with him (uncannily like your own I might add) that no doubt eventually led to his exit from the forum.

Yes niddy has gone on....to his own website where he can moderate himself and bask in the glory of his own self adulation. His legions of 'followers' who so gallantly jump to his defence have also thankfully mostly gone with him and they can all happily spend their days convincing each other of ever more inventive ways of avoiding their debts.

Good luck to them. Providing they never get credit again they will simply live out their days as a relic of a short lived and increasingly socially unacceptable attitude that debt avoidance is in some way morally righteous, when in reality it is the person next to you who you are actually screwing.

Go and look at their legal section. The amount of victories in court say otherwise.

    Nuff said.

Bit like CAG though isn't it....you only hear about the wins ;)

How much support do bar room lawyers provide after the event when their advice has led to legal action being defended/taken and lost, resulting in orders for costs etc?

Believe it or not I actually had no problem with niddy on a 1-1 basis and we actually had a number of meaningful and often light hearted exchanges both on the forum and via PM.

This does not however change my view that debt avoidance should not be considered fashionable or in some way acceptable, particularly bearing in mind the number of perfectly adequate official sources of help and advice for those who cannot pay.

I think they actually have a lawyer on board that takes cases on.

The same lawyers that created presedent in Harrison vs Link.

Believe it or not it's a very good site and has a lot more help than you give credit for. They don't promote not paying they promote your rights as a consumer that's how I read it.

They also have a free dmp company that works exclusively for them as well if recent posts are anything to go by. All in all they're doing things these sites couldn't dream up. What happens over at Niddys site is true consumer interest. You won't find abuse like you do here.

I am only defending your mis guided claims. I also like MSE but in a different capacity.

    Out of interest.
If an agreement is made in good faith between two parties, do you think it is right that one side attempts to void their reponsibilities using a minor technicality which does not affect the spirit of the agreement?

As I'm only the little man why don't you ask the banks and I'll go with whatever stance they've taken over the last god knows how many years.

What goes around does come back around and usually with a big bite.

I have taken out loans from banks in the past.
They lend me a set amount and I agree to pay back a certain sum each month for an agreed term. Pretty simple really. Why do you see that as a problem?
