Theres a guy called Never In Doubt and he is the master of getting out of paying back what you owe,

There are also a load of his worshippers on here too (very deluded but ardent) who can look into this for you.

Ultimately, they are all demented but if you want to go down the unenforcable route...they are the nutjobs you need to speak to.
The unenforceable route (you shouldn't really be using words you can't spell to start with) is not something that 'Never In Doubt and his worshippers' made up, it is based on the Consumer Credit Act!
To put it in lay terms, there are many times we make mistakes and when we try to seek redress, we find we have no legal standing because there is no law that can make your builder/surveyor/lawyer, etc. give you your money back if something goes wrong as there's no provision for that in whatever contract you had with them.

Something similar happens with the banks, if they can't produce a proper agreement then they can't have their money back because the law can't make you pay it by force, i.e. enforce. Banks are meant to be in the business of lending money, if they can't get right something as simple as a consumer agreement then what can you expect of the rest of their business, no wonder we had a credit crunch!

The banks have made one mistake after another and get away with everything while the consumer pays the price. Do you know how much bankers pay themselves in bonuses? even after being bailed out by taxpayers like YOU and ME?

Do you know how many BILLIONS the banks raked in with their infamous PPI?

I'd suggest you do a bit of research before you alocate blame. Read the Consumer Credit Act for a start, it dates back to 1974, probably long before 'Never In Doubt' was born!

...Don't you mean PURPOSELY missold ppi?

I agree, the lending institutions had the best legal minds available and as much money as they liked to get the agreements right.

    So, why didn't they?

Easy, they had the attitude that they still have now, inasmuch that they think they are above both the law and legislation and they can do as they please with no redress.

Sadly, it's true, as both the government and the other regulating bodies do not have the balls to stand up to them!
Happiness, is a Kebab called Doner.....:heart2::heart2:

Yes, PPI was purposely mis-sold to increase their profits, of course!

Now the banks are complaining about all the money they are 'losing' having to pay for all those reclaims, however, even if they pay back billions, they've already made a lot more billions from it!

Their business is to play with money and they've had our money to play with all those years.

Unlike ordinary insurance which is paid out of your own money, PPI was charged to your credit card so there was interest on it, and it was compound interest!

As per Oscar in post #10.

    FYI,

"Niddy" is an intelligent, honourable and helpful human being, who's "followers" are far from being deluded or nutjobs.

Unlike you of course, who appears to be a sarcastic, unhelpful trolling
    pratt!

I am convinced Chippy, no more unhelpful statements like "you took the loan out, pay it back". Sorry.

    How naive have I been.

And to all the other trolls who think like this - cut it out. Disgusting.

Am I mistaken that working on a basis of "borrow money - pay it back" is somehow wrong.

    Yes you are sadly mistaken.

But that happens to people whom have their head so far up they can't see beyond their own ego :(

The reason he had zero credibility with many people on here was becasue he always led with trying to screw the lender by any means possible even when it wasn't what the person came on here looking for. It was just so clear what his agenda was and he lost all respect.
