Yes, the legal world is full of technicalities. Fact. Nothing you can do about that so why does it bother you so much?

This isn't a legal discussion forum, it's a consumer help forum. You may want to try Legal Beagles to discuss the finer points of the law.

There is a world of difference between consumer help and looking for loopholes to avoid repaying debt. The majority of those that tried the uneforceability route were not unable to repay, but were just looking at the possibility of getting out of paying. Lucklly thr vast majority failed.

So I'm an idiot because I believe in paying back what I owe. I've reported your abusive post.

    1) IFYPFY

    2) I didnt say you were an idiot. I said there was a 68% chance you were. You MIGHT fall into the 32%.

In which case there are proper ways out like IVAs, bankrupcy and debt relief orders, trying to weasle out by finding a loophole is not

Correct me if I am worng, but dont IVAs, Bankruptcy and Debt Relief Orders, relieve you of part of your debt? Or as you put it, weasling out.

I would rather be a weasel - they dont get sucked into jet engines.

It smacks more of won't pay to me, what about the debt charities, they help come to an arrangement if you can't pay.

The same Debt charities funded by the banks?? Its quite clear which side their bread is buttered.

That's correct, they work to try to get the lender their money back, at a rate you can afford.

They don't help you crawl under a rock and avoid repaying, thus, they are no good for you.

Would a case be thrown out of court in favour of the lender, because the defaulting borrower had spelled unenforceable wrong?

I am sat here laughing at the contractitions on this thread. So you say that we hide behind a loophole right?

What the hell do you think bankruptcy, IVA etc is? Its a bl00dy loophole !!!!!!! Are you people really that thick that you don't see we're taking the mick cos you're too thick to actually stop us! :rotfl: :rotfl:
