Yes, the legal world is full of technicalities. Fact. Nothing you can do about that so why does it bother you so much?
This isn't a legal discussion forum, it's a consumer help forum. You may want to try Legal Beagles to discuss the finer points of the law.
There is a world of difference between consumer help and looking for loopholes to avoid repaying debt. The majority of those that tried the uneforceability route were not unable to repay, but were just looking at the possibility of getting out of paying. Lucklly thr vast majority failed.0 -

2) I didnt say you were an idiot. I said there was a 68% chance you were. You MIGHT fall into the 32%.No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

It smacks more of won't pay to me, what about the debt charities, they help come to an arrangement if you can't pay.
The same Debt charities funded by the banks?? Its quite clear which side their bread is buttered. No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

now who feels the prat when the spelling of UNENFORCEABLE was correct!! Does your ever-so-small brain think it's spelt Unenforcable? :rotfl: :rotfl:
Glasshouse or thickhouse - you decide!
Would a case be thrown out of court in favour of the lender, because the defaulting borrower had spelled unenforceable wrong?0 -
In which case there are proper ways out like IVAs, bankrupcy and debt relief orders, trying to weasle out by finding a loophole is not, and my point about PPI, which is what bought about the abusive reply is valid, surely PPI is there for if you loose your job, or become ill you pay the insurance, it pays your debts for a period whilst you get back on your feet.
What the hell do you think bankruptcy, IVA etc is? Its a bl00dy loophole !!!!!!! Are you people really that thick that you don't see we're taking the mick cos you're too thick to actually stop us! :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
