Re the MB cakes...if you divided the mixture into two cake tins or even two loaf tins, could you shorten the cooking time? And by how much?

Edit- just saw the link...off to read the original thread m1717.gif
  • Evening Everyone, hope you are all ok. Just caught up. Dont know if it has been mentioned or if this is store specific but the Tropicana 1.5 ltr orange juice - no bits White sel £1.50.
The 1 ltr is £2.59:eek: and the 1.75tr is £3.59 so the 1.5 is good value.

Also the Oral B Pro expert toothpastes are on a white SEL but are £1.75

Just thought I would mention them in case anyone missed them as they are both on white SEL's

It totally peedles me off that you have to pay £17 to be told what you already know, at one time this was offset against the second stage visit (£17 off the £47), but now it is in addition to.

.....but try to look on the bright side, this is a mere fraction of what it would cost privately, I only got an NHS dentist when I moved here in 2003, before that I was paying £35+ just for a consultation!

czerniacha - I hope you get some relief from your tooth pain very soon xx

I sympathise with all of you having neighbour problems. We had horrors a couple of years ago, luckily only for 6 months but I barely coped that long. Loud music, heavy drinking, lots of visitors blocking driveways, suspicious going in and out constantly in car every 20 minutes or so from 9ish each evening, bloke came and smashed their windscreen when no one would open the door, my husband was almost arrested when police got the wrong house he had to show identity and we had, unknown to us, another policeman in our backgarden in case he had made a run for it, the man was arrested and put into police van as we were leaving with my daughter for school. Worst thing was they had a little boy, we reported problems to the local police but we were just so relieved when they moved on as I thought I was going mad from the constant music and noise.

You also have to declare any problem neighbours now when you try to sell your house, so if you report them you could have problems selling your house - which I understand from a buyers point of view.

Come & do my packing if you want. :D

    I'm doing everything but packing.

List of flights address where we are staying, A4 sheets with address where we are staying in large print for inside the case & home address for way back, last bit of washing, lecturing my Mum etc trying to find the small padlocks & keys.

I do that, I get all the littlest details sorted first and THEN pack!

I have so just re-discovered my love for Placebo. Watching videos on youtube and it's like going back in time iykwim. So many good memories there, looking up gigs that I was at getting all misty eyed! :rotfl:

I like a few of the Placebo songs, but my post-Take That Break-Up music was Pulp, Different class is still one of my all-time favourite albums!
