    Hi elite 11+ quizzers, :D

Haven't posted since last Wed and you lot have chatted away 121 pages, which I just don't have time to read. :p:p:p

Real life taking over majorly at the moment; don't seem to do anything other than work stuff. :(

Anywho, hugs and best wishes to all the ill and walking wounded. Serious hugs and extra best wishes to all those with ill relatives. Talking of which...
Don't want to bring the thread down, just found out my younger brother has Hodgkin's Lymphoma, (Lymph cancer) he is only 30. Anyone have any experience with this?
It might seem like it at the moment, but, believe me, it's not the end of the world. Hodgkin's is curable and your brother will hopefully go on to live a long life.

I've been where you are; my sister was terminal (6 months) with Leukaemia (not sure which version, just that it was a bad one) and I had the privilege of saving her with a Bone Marrow Transplant (very painful, I can tell you).

Tell your brother to hang on in there. :)

    Take care all.

    OB

    btw. 15 days - no ciggies :T

    Thanks, Nikki. :)

Funnily enough, my good lady reminds me of just that very thing every day.

Best part about it all is my senses are sharpening; I woke up the other morning and could actually literally smell the coffee. That felt so good.

My respiratory nurse (who is lovely) said it will be even better when I start to taste food properly again.
