    :(:(:(:(

will you forgive me if I moan for one last time? :o

went to the 'dentist' if that's what he calls himself  he was probably younger then me and more scared then I was! paid 17 quid just for him to tell me what I already knew: I have an infection! anyway got a prescription for a different antibiotics(him and the pharmacist both confirmed the ones I got off the GP are rubbish and very mild! I'm off to see if I can complain or leave a review about the rubbish walk-in clinic and GP in Southall!) but I left there not knowing if I should take them instead or together or after I finished the ones I'm taking! had to ask the very nice pharmacist who also gave me some stronger ibuprofen to add to my collection... also he said I'm not able to have a canal root job off the NHS and can only have the tooth taken out when the infection is gone...
I'm not going back to him!

So I'm back to square 1 :( Think I'm gonna have meals of yoghurt, antibiotics and painkillers for another week and try and go back to work tomorrow as I feel really bad about taking time off... :( Loosing a few more kg won't hurt me anyway

    rant over :o

PS. Nikki I might take you up on the offer to pass the details of your dentist if she does NHS and weekends/late evenings :o I can't experiment with them any more... :(

Managed the jump start without incident, I'm so relieved but when I turned it off it was flat again. At least the jump leads didn't smoke today but I did get a new set at Argos. So thanks for the positive vibes which we can now switch to those more needy.

Thats cool I thought it probably would so tomorrow I can calmly do it again either take it for a spin up the M40 or get it to limp into the driveway, its a very old Fiesta I was given, I'm trying to get it out of the street onto the driveway so it looks as thought we're at home when we go away & the other car is parked at Gatwick for a week.

Ridiculous story of "progress" on a similar vein to travel agents if I have time later, this time Banking :rotfl:

Leave it running for a while or better still take it for a drive to give the battery a good charge. As long as the battery light isn't on the alternator should be fine. But if you take it for a drive, switch it off and it doesn't start again, you've done some damage somewhere, most likely the battery.

You've done well:T:T:T Turners road was nearly a year ago, such a favourite on DTD, many a drunken evening on the thread with that:owouldnt like to think how many bottles got opened between mse;)
That's what I'm worried about with my elbow too, this was the 3rd steroid and they only work for a little while and am really worried the scan could show osteoarthritis. Got that in one knee and hate the cold weather with it:(If the scan shows what I want to show they will operate which will be great, not great for an op but great that it could fix it:)

Not sure that one was left over from DTD, one of them was though. Think that Turners Road may have come from a Finest Meal Deal that was returning JTD but I may be wrong. Have a memory that Turners was part of the meal deal online and so worked instore but none of our stores actually had it in the meal deal section. Or am I dreaming that one?? ;)

In my experience if it is osteoarthritis the steroid injections don't give me any pain relief, well 48 hrs tops, when they eventually injected gap between thumb joint and wrist. Jab in elbow had no effect at all. Hope it can be fixed for you, I know exactly what you mean ops not what we really want but if something can be sorted it is the way forward. :)
