Depends on where you live tbh, as some places going for a walk means dodging dog mess on the pavements, inhaling lungfuls of skunk as you pass each street corner where the chavs hang out, watching out for loose staffies/rotties ready to rip you to bits
that's so sad , it sounds as tho' your a prisoner in your own home .
what part of the country do you live ?I was young once , now I get older all the time .0 -

Hi everyone, I've been popping in to see whats new, but haven't had time to post - so thanks for new thread Nikki-yeahbutnobutyeahbutno-lalla
How is everyone? We still have a shocking stash or mars bars, won't have to buy any for DH's lunch box for work for about 6 months !! I'm trying to not eat any of them, and to do so, I imagine cellotaping one to my @rse and seeing how much I like that extra lump there! Lol, does that make me crazy?!
Havent been to a T's for a few days, been up to my eyeballs in sorting the house out, having building work done soon and so been selling lots of the kids old toys and making some space - I've made such a mess! I'm at work today so I can have a nice quiet break from it all. You ever tried clearing a house with a 3 year old playing up? Nightmare!0 -

Its not where I live but having seen some places like this I know they exist, I have a house just off J3 of the M5 Birmingham outskirts and another just off J21 M5 Weston-super-Mare seafront, not a fan of walking just for walkings sake tho, but I do enjoy the gym
I also often go back to mam's house in the S Wales valleys0 -
Something the lovely CA told me might help in getting 1p items through the till.
I had loads of the coins and asked if that was OK buying that many. She said it was fine as far as she was concerned but she'd put them through in batches of 10 as that wouldn't bring an alert up on her till.
Apparently 12 x 1p items put through in one go flags up on the till and might need a supervisor to over ride it (or take them off you!) but as long as you put them through in batches of less than 12 they should scan OK.
I've never heard of this before....but she was so nice, I don't have any reason to doubt her.My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

Morning All , nice here , dry at least .
For al lyou excercise junkies and gurus , surely the cheapest way of excercise is to walk out the front door and keep on walking ,hopefully to somewhere nice , vary the inclines ,enjoy the scenery and take a few lungs of fresh air as well .
Doesn't cost a great deal .
Just a thought .
Sounds lovely - I'll get my coat ..... with your knees & my big foot :rotfl:
Admittedly when we had Pooky we walked miles - now we just walk to Mr T (but it is down a hill, up a hill & down a hill..:D )Our Family Motto ~If all else fails - read the instructions...
