Evening all. As I said earlier I would give everybody an update on my doctors appointment.

I forgot how much I hate the wait (was 20 mins early and 20 mins delay). I've been asked to take therapy next week and anti-depressants for a couple weeks to see how I go.

I had counseling last year, which I didn't like tbh, maybe it was just the counselor I had. He just made me more upset and down with myself. Which I assumed wasn't the idea!

I don't know what to think at the moment tbh :/ I've never taken anti-depressants before and wonder how they will work. (yeah I know they're meant to help) but how will they effect me etc. if that makes any sense.

On the tesco side of things, had to have a trip:o I decided to input 4 reuseable bags on SS, even though I had one. As on the manned till yesterday they didn't add my bags:mad:
Anyway it asked for SA:eek: and she was livid at me:( I didn't bother explaining about the number of times the manned till operators never add my bags on. Even though I say I have my own bags!
    Rant over with.

Hi guys, I know this has been briefly mentioned on Grabbit but can confirm that if you purchase the Valentine's £15 deal with the mixed green veg (must be in the designated meal deal chiller in your store) the deal will not kick in so DTD!

The green veg is not part of the deal according to the Ts website but was in the meal deal chiller in my store in one location, but not in the other.

Another poster said you would get the meal free but on my calculations I paid:

    Frixinet Cava - £9.49
    Green veg selection - £2.50
    Lamb Shank - £10
    Gu choc dessert - £3.29

    =£25.28/£10.28 o/c so = £20.56 back DTD.

    Meal therefore cost £4.72 :T:j:T
Still fantastic for a deal that includes £9.49 bubbly!

HTH - so happy to finally be of use!

    Soos x

    Thank you Soos!:T:T:T

And don't forget, the Cava pricechecks against Mr A at £6.00 , not sure about the other items though but you MAY get another £3.50 in a pricecheck voucher.... meal deal for £1.22 odd anyone??!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!

Great finds guys! Were these OOD SEL's or glitches?

Local has a ton of OOD SEL's, all continued offers so far though, with no scanner it's a slow process scanning. SS => Electrical => Chemist. Trying to be descreet..

Mine was a RTC SEL no date on it :)
Anyone can cuddle but only the Welsh can cwtch :)
  • Also, old news to many I expect, but ASDA are still doing cheap specs which simply can't be beaten on price if you have a complex prescription like me (-10 and -11, think bottle tops :rotfl:).

As I've a small face, I can get the kids specs with 1.74 thin lenses for £30 :j:j:j For normal adult glasses they are £70 or two for £100.

I have paid £450 for a pair of specs before as each lens on its own costs £150+. Asda make a loss on these, yet this is the third year running they have continued with their pricing.

For all of you thinking about glasses, I have to agree with sorryaboutmywife - I ordered new glasses from Mr A (thin lenses, anti glare coating etc) for £50 - (also available for 2 pairs for £80) Picking them up next week - thanks sorryaboutmywife, wouldn't have thought ot check Mr A if you hadn't posted :j:j:j

Unfortunately put it through with my other groceries which included some whoopsies so that'll probably cancel it out but it wouldn't hurt to try....:D

Still got original total of nearly £65 shopping for £25 after the DTD and coupons so can't complain :rotfl:
