Oh excellent, gonna check the dark side for this one :rotfl: Seen an ad in the paper this morning for the Xbox, Kinnect and a game for £185, didn't think that was too bad a deal, might have to look into the extra controller as well now :cool:

Afternoon all! Wanted to post last night but it wasn't happening, not sure if it was the website in general or my internet access!

Had a bit of a result in one of my locals yesterday afternoon but for some reason have been feeling a bit funny about it ever since. Spotted some Denby still marked down at £56 amongst other SELs of £85. Ummed and Ahhed and then thought 'what the heck, why not??' so i picked it up and paid at a manned till. The SA on the till was like 'wow thats expensive, did u realise it was that price?!' to which I played dumb! 'Yeah Yeah, thought it was about £80 ish'! (I must have looked like someone who wouldn't normally buy expensive china lol).

I then trekked back upstairs to the CS desk to explain my overcharge. Eventually had to show the lady where I'd seen it. Then had to trek back downstairs to get overcharge sorted coz apparently they can only do refunds upstairs!

By this point I was getting quite stressed that I was going to be late to pick up DD from playschool and that the SA who had been surprised at the price would spot me at customer services!

The Various CS assistants then spent a little time mumbling to each other before giving me DTD.

Now, I should feel pleased with this outcome but for some reason have had a funny feeling ever since! Not sure if it's my conscience or if I'm paranoid they were mumbling about me and that I'm now on their radar!

I'm afraid the glitch has been fixed, I bouight mine at 10.25am , it was fixed around 10.30.
They go through at £44.99 now

Hi LTF - I was only there as I was visiting my Dad in the hospital. So plenty left as I bought 6. As least 3 full clip strips. I got the 'How cool is this' £1 things there. Hidden amongst the toys.

cool! I might have a wonder down every aisle then. But then I do want my JTD voucher back before I go. Can you remember which aisles they were? If not then don't worry

Right it depends how good an actress you are ...

... next time you're in you could always seek out and "thank" the SA at the till and say that ... cos you were buying it as a present you were expecting to pay about £80 but as you were walking away (and because she brought it to your attention) you kind of thought you saw a SEL for £56 so you went to double check and would you believe it "you did see a SEL for that price" and so got DTD.
