:DJust been to T's not much doing , but in the reduced section they had all the finish quantamatics ( no supprise there) The starter packs were £2.52 and the double refills were £3 . scanned a refill and it came up at ££8 .12 :j then noticed it was a lemon one and the sell said original .But there were loads of Lemon ones there ! so I hid some at the back and got 3 for me . Got a nice DTD of £30.72 and she took away a couple of lemon ones that I had left at the front . So if anyone wants them there are Lemon ones mixed in at the back .:D

I was just looking at that.

I got one this morning - sel £3, charged £6, free with DTD refund. :)

I suppose it would be a bit cheeky to run it through the price checker now to get a JTD of £4...

My local never look at receipts so it is very tempting.

edit - Looks like minnie-the-minx has had the same idea

Morning all, Another busy day today need to take my son hospital for xrays of his ankle.
Went to T's last night found a lonely coffee machine descaler :rotfl: unfortunately someone had used black marker and put a line through the barcode so wouldnt scan. why go to the trouble of doing that rather than just take it off the shelf.
Not looking forward to the snow tonight. prefer snow at wk ends when I dont have to drive.:(
Have a good day all. Hopefully get back on later to try catch up.:D

Are you sure it was the barcode? From memory there's 3 things on the box that look like barcodes and on quite a lot of my packs, there was a single black marker line through one of the barcodes but I was able to scan it using another barcode.

What is the deal with JTD?!

I can see the benefit if its a wombled receipt, or the wine in a meal deal, but surely for other items theirs no advantage over just buying the items in Asda.

    Simples.

Tesco sell Nescafe Gold Blend 200g for £6.48
Asda sell the same item for £4

Buy 6 jars in Tesco (£38.88) plus £1.12 in extras to get to the £40 mark. Use a £5 off £40 and your bill comes to £35. Put your receipt into the Price Checker and not only will get get a JTD voucher for £14.88, you've saved an extra £5 in Tesco so you get Asda price plus the benefit of a Tesco MOC. So even though I could go to Asda and buy the jars for £4, I get an extra discount making them £3.17

Oh and although I could go to Asda, I prefer the covered parking in Ts plus the added benefit of clubcard points and reducing Ts profit. Ok so £20 back for every £40 spent isn't going to bankrupt them but "Every little helps" :rotfl:

Just come back from T's, managed to pick up 2 of the Denby dinner ware for free...

Absolutely over the moon as we have 2 weddings this year :T:T:T:T:T

Had DTD no problems, manager came and apologised for the mistake and told me to enjoy my money :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
