It was in my local store, Roneo Corner, in Essex.
I also forgot to mention that they didn't write anything on my receipt. Is this what you guys refer to as a 'golden receipt'? And does it mean I could take them back for a refund at the full price, or is that really naughty??
Yes it is a golden. You can return items for a refund but maybe use a different store to keep under the radar.

What is the deal with JTD?!
I can see the benefit if its a wombled receipt, or the wine in a meal deal, but surely for other items theirs no advantage over just buying the items in Asda.
Normally yes you are right but, atm with the £5 off a £40 spend its like doing your shopping at Mr A's with another fiver taken off!!! HTHAgent 06 of the HCCSC :T0 -
I haven't read back over yesterday's chat yet, but I was out Easter egging yesterday. Approx 80% of expresses has the mugs eggs OOD I think due to the fact they changed offer one day later than the rest and every single one gave a golden receipt. Lots of effort at 1 egg an express tho :-)
You need chocolate THAT bad??0 -

Incidently Andrew Eldritch of the Sisters of Mercy still tours too, often both bands are on the same bill. Sadly it's mostly European festivals though, so I've not seen them yet.

It's a small world, I used to live on Upper Rainham Road at my parents house and now live in Elm Park. Have you moved far?
Thanks for the advice, I'm off to Lakeside tomorrow so will try taking them back there. Does it matter that I used my clubcard??0 -

I have started splitting my shopping into 2 now - cheaper in A and cheaper in T - but I do it all in T as I have no A nearby.
It takes a bit of time but is really worthwhile.
By the time I check all the info on here too and also the coupon thread - preparing for a shopping trip takes longer than the shopping trip itself!
When you compare the prices between the 2 stores it almost looks like they have got together and said 'right, we'll be cheaper on this half and you can be cheaper on the other half - we'll swap over next week'. If you do all your shopping in T in one go any savings you make are cancelled out whereas doing it in 2 gives you the best price on everything. As HennyP says, it makes me feel like I am getting one over on them and I like thatIf you're not scared, you're not paying attention0 -

harkin' back a bit in time , I must admit my fav beer at the moment is ..
Innis & Gunn Oak Aged Beer Rum Finish -7.5% Brewed in Edinburgh , what a super brew and almost medicinal in taste and properties ..I'd go further and say it is medicinal as I certainly felt better after 1 .
