Was this your receipt or wombled? Most of the cathedral city cheese(cheddar) has been £4.38 BOGOF for a while and then changed to £1.99 each yesterday. Either you or someone else(?) bought the variety not on offer or the BOGOF didn't work?:)

It was my very carefully planned receipt ;) i noticed the extra mature on offer in T's but A's had both the normal and the extra on offer so i opted for the normal giving a better return. I did this shop on tues.

    Hi everyone

I'm normally a bit of a lurker but have finally found something in my local so couldn't wait to log on and say a massive thank you!
Someone mentioned recently about the Tesco sleeping bag liners being £2 on the SEL and scanning at £7. Well I found some today!! I picked up 5 and left loads on the shelf. My heart was pounding as I went to CS as I have read your stories of trouting! The guy couldn't have been nicer, asked me to show him the label, then kindly told me I'd receive a refund of £50 due to them giving double the difference. I couldn't believe it! Unfortunately he took the SEL away but it's definitely worth you all looking out for.

I'm really sorry I can't remember who the OP was. I have tried searching for it but can't find it (I'm not too good at this!!). But just wanted to say a big thank you whover you are. You have really made my day! Hopefully one day I will find something that I can tell you all about. I did scan a lot of stuff but nothing was cheap, sorry!

Anyway, sorry for the long post and hugs to everyone that needs them.

That was me, so pleased someone else has benefited. :j:j:j
What store was it, if you don't mind me asking, and is it your local?

And Glass Pig, I got mine in Ch3shunt EXtra, SEL removed, I know you visit that store sometimes, maybe try S Tot?

  • Hi All,

My first JTD back from wombled receipt and only 19p better luck next time.

Is anybody good with a MacBook Pro and photo's?
I am doing a project for work at the moment and need to take photo's and send them via email renaming them. Everytime I think I have done this correctly but always get a reply advising I need to send them through as attachments and not in the main body of the email.
I have just looked at my sent items and it does show as 25 attachments so don't know what I am doing wrong.
    Would greatly appreciate some help
    Thanks in advance.
    Now on the 5:2 diet.

    Lost 25 1/2 lbs :j:j:j 33 1/2 lbs to go

Well I'd just got to bed at 2 am when the nurse from the ward rang to say Mr 3Dogs was back on the ward. They had removed his appendix but had to cut him open to do it, not keyhole. But he was ok :D

He text me this morning at 6.18 am to say "Cup of tea and two chocolate digestives - heaven" and then at 7 am he had cereal, sausage sandwich and a yoghurt. He is tender but ok, so I am off over there now. With it being open rather than keyhole, he won't be out today, but should be home tomorrow :j

I am off over there now so will let you know later how things are - thanks for all the messages :A

Glad Mr 3dogs is doing well after his op. :)
