my flat isnt even double glazed and my bay windows are 108 inch drop (hugeeeeeee) so that big with such rubbish thin glass, and a draft that comes through them :(:(not to mention all the damp that the environmental health man decided didnt exist (i watched him using his machine) why are estate agents such scum? i enquired about a flat 4 months ago, was waiting for the bloke to be evicted.... today i get told the flat got let out in the week (i was promised first refusal on it) luckily they had a ground floor flat (going to be smaller though) im so angry with the council, estate agents etc etc!!! and the council waiting list is a joke im coming 28th on properties and they tell me if i cant find somewhere myself my son will be sharing a room with me until he is 4 or 5 before they bother helping. grrrr. sorry to come here and moan just fed up of a day of bad phone calls!!!!!!!!!

Ask council to fit draught excluders.

    Damp leads to mould.

    Is extensive in my LA.

Escalate the complaint via phone and ask person on other end of phone to read back to you the complaint they have written on your behalf.

You should hear back within 28 days.

Whoever manages Jedward should get the England job. If they can get a performance out of them two imagine what they could do with a team!

o0o0o i just saw a thing on another thing, the thing in boots where you get max factor mascara 3 for 2 and get 500 points per mascara there is a code so you get an extra £2 off,

Really sorry Tricia but can you remove the code - were not allowed to post codes on this forum, it was a nice thought though - they have to go across to the voucher and codes thread xxx

the town with a castle and a leaning tower?

A coded way of saying the town, the castle dominates the town so people from the area would know straight away the town.

You can't make someone love you. All you can do is
stalk them & hope they panic & give in

And hugs to all those going through a hard time at the moment, whether it be with themselves, loved ones or whatever else. I find it hard to comment much, esp about things like this but it doesn't mean I don't care and hope things get better for everyone

DS anoyed by this, he wants snow, so do I but only I want it next week at half term :D

Feel like screaming now! When we moved in with the folks I bought DS an extra pair of school shoes which somehow magically disappeared when DS out grew the old ones. I just bought him a new pair last week, cost me £30, and now have went behind the TV to pick up a paper plane (DS homework to design some and see which design flies furthest) but low and behold the pair of shoes I've been looking for sitting on top of everything else, yet when my Mum searched there they weren't there.:mad::eek::mad:

Don't get me wrong, I've been praying for snow but nothing except sunshine and a bit of rain - a typical Norn Iron summer then! The last and only time I've seen snow since last winter was coming home from Donegore in early December. T'was truely magical driving the M2 in blizzard like conditions then hitting the low ground of Belfast and as if by magic, no snow :(

    Evening all

Been a lurker/thanker the last couple of days, havent really had a chance to catch up properly, but I'm there now!

OH is away to Glasgow tonight for a funeral tomorrow. Don't really like it when he goes away and it's just me and DD in the house :o I like my man here to protect us! :rotfl:

He's booked to come back on the last bus tomorrow night, I just hope he makes it, it's his and DD's birthday on Friday so we were meant to be having a nice wee day just the 3 of us as he had to miss her birthday last year. Things never seem to go to plan for us, it's crap!

Nothing much doing on the T's front, just had a couple of flying visits. Did find the Fairy Liquid for 77p, there was no SEL but it scanned at 77p. Also spotted the Heinz Mini Meals the other day were RTC at 33p, might be one to look out for again?
