The Algarve - warmer than here, stunning beaches and laughably cheap in February if you organise it yourself. A winning combination :)

A bit warmer than here, but by no means truly warm in February I'm afraid. It's one of the coldest months even in Portugal. Usually the weather starts turning in April and in May you can get some really warm (beach-going) days as well. But February is real winter... Or as "real winter" as the Portuguese get. Afterall, temps bellow 10C are considered freezing cold over there. ;) Have fun!

Mr T's in "The town with a castle with a leaning tower" has LOADS of reduced jars and tins of baby food, Cow and Gate, Organix. Prices are 11p, 15p, Check the dates though. Some are dated later this year but loads are dated 2013. They are in the RTC section.

    Thanks.
You never know you might win the lottery and be able to go.
I have this aspiration every week and then feel defeated on Sunday morning when I haven't won a penny. if I did win I don't know what I would first. I don't think I could even go shopping and pay full price it wouldn't feel right
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

Move to Northern Ireland then! Lovely accents, never far from the sea and we're to be 10C on Friday compared to 1C in London. Summer has come early for us

DS anoyed by this, he wants snow, so do I but only I want it next week at half term :D

Feel like screaming now! When we moved in with the folks I bought DS an extra pair of school shoes which somehow magically disappeared when DS out grew the old ones. I just bought him a new pair last week, cost me £30, and now have went behind the TV to pick up a paper plane (DS homework to design some and see which design flies furthest) but low and behold the pair of shoes I've been looking for sitting on top of everything else, yet when my Mum searched there they weren't there.:mad::eek::mad:

Happy I've tried answering twice now the netbook knows we are talking about it & won't post. should be back on desktop tomorrow, will be giving it a SEVERE TALKING TO when back from my break.

Nothing works to open messages or links. I only use this when I'm too ill for the desktop

Lovingtescoforever is in the midlands at uni but home this week. i was wondering if they must be people at uni who can give help & advice & there is usually some sort of group for everything. You said you Mum suffers depression possibly you are not clinically depressed as a medical condition it might be your circumstances that are bringing you down. seek out every avenue and we're happy to hear any rants etc you need to have
