The man in front of me at cs in tesco now has a meal deal that hasn't worked.
He's bought dauphinois potatoes, beef bourguignon, cheesecake & a wine that says "dino" on the front.
I've just pointed out dtd to him before leaving.

Well spotted :T. Just checked .com and dino wine is valid from tomorrow so your store must have put their SELs out early. Hope mine is the same when I go later :D.

Did you notice that tomorrow's deal is called a 'Restaurant Collection' deal and is £15. 1 main + 1 dessert + 1 drink

    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/search/default.aspx?searchBox=restaurant%20collection

I wonder if the Finest meal deal is over?

I have a feeling that any stores with the meal deal still up are worth a shot :D

Will have a look when I'm out and about and report back, but may not be for a while :o

Oops, should be ready to go by now

Must dash... see you all later :)

This story made me laugh out loud and brought back memories of when my DS was 2....we were shopping in Asda and he shouted out 'look there's a monkey'...everyone turned around and he was pointing to a black skinned person, I was mortified and quickly explained that we have different skin colours but are all the same underneath. Luckily the lady found it funny. Now he is at a school that has many children from different cultures and he is so anti racist....and will argue when people are being racist.

  How embarassing, it's a good job the lady thought it amusing too

Last year, my niece's youngest, 5, saw 2 black people walking towards them, and said loudly to her Mam "there's two robbers Mam" .................... they realised that the 'robbers' in jail in her Lego Police Station were both black and the police were white - steriotyping   When they realised, they swithced their uniforms, etc over so had one black and one white of each to balance it out ;);)

  • If the finest meal deal is not on tomorrow it won't be on .com today as its only what's available from tomorrow & seems they are changing to the valantines deal tomorrow. Maybe some store are getting some items mixed up :)

I have just checked the prices of the wines and the "freixenet cordon negro" is £3.29 a bottle cheaper at Asda, so this could be a brilliant one if it works on DTD and JTD - fingers crossed xxx
