I'm gonna make pasta bake for tea tonight, do I cook the pasta seperately first then throw it all together or just throw it all in ?

    Thanks in advance

OMG thats big to think my son did not weigh that till he was up walking.
i thought my cousin was bad when her wee boy was 10lb 11oz:rotfl:

My eldest was 11lb 8.5oz - drove me mad all these folk coming to see the 'big' baby.

One particular midwife got rotad on to visit me the week after for her particular love of the big babes!

He is now 13 yrs and 5 ft 6in and not much too his girth!

Others were 10lb and my wee one 9lb 15oz!

Anyway enough remenising and a trip to Tesco to plan!
  • The new Restaurant Collection meal deal starting tomorrow looks interesting:

    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/SpecialOffers/SpecialOfferDetail/Default.aspx?promoId=A29431210

At £15 each you need 4 to get a petrol discount voucher and a new £5 voucher for next week.

    4 @ £15 is £60 less this week's £5 voucher so a £55 spend for most of us.

Two of the wines are Freixenet Cava and both are cheaper at A if they compare but should give a JTD voucher of £13.96 (for the four) so total spend now £41.04

Ad 2 small bottles of Vega Roja Rioja at £1.50 each adds £3 to the cost but takes off £2.05 for the 5% off 6 bottles offer so worth doing imho.

So, 4 RC meal deals and 2 small bottles of wine, a £5 voucher for next week and a petrol discount voucher for £41.99.

Can't help but think that some of the other food items will price match too but impossible to predict.
If you're not scared, you're not paying attention

    I echo these sentiments.

Here's a tune for all the dog owners on here today, to wake us up on this miserable morning. (Apologies to the cat lovers)

Gives a long distance wave to 3dogs, from the top of the pennines!

Andreavinne, I know exactly how you feel. T's seem to be getting their stock control, under control :(

But whoopsies and wombling for points/JTD are definitely still worth persuing.

I have just had week 5 finish, of my own personal challenge, of groceries etc for under £20 a week. All 5 weeks have managed it :)

No signs for the finest meal yesterday, or else I could have been tempted. Hopefully after valentines day, the meal offer will go back to £10. Otherwise, I feel T's are shooting themselves in the foot, as so many other stores do meal deals for £10.

Finally got an exemption certificate for council tax, from DS1's uni, so phone call to council is now in order :D, to claim back the overpayment.
