Do the SA never express a comment on the 'high' price?

Twice now when I was making my inital purchase to get a DTD the SA has said something along the lines of "Gosh they're expensive" and then waited for me to say it's OK to continue.:o

No, never had that. Probably will now you've mentioned it though!! :rotfl:

    Hi

I parked atbthe far end of the car park for my mooch and looked quite genuine with fag in hand just strolling around the trolley parks whilst nattering with my mum on the phone
Oh an singing the wombling tune to her too when she asked what I was doing!
Note to self park at far end is a good idea any excuse to look at all the messy abandoned trollies on the way to store
    Xx

Mmmm ... I'm a non smoker but now that you've described the scene a plan springs to mind ... I usually have the dog with me soooooooo we could always be answering a call of nature (the dogs not mine). Brilliant!

I got to the home to see mam tonight just 10 minutes after my sister, who had found her right down her chair, with her head awkwardly tucked up where her bottom should be and her legs off the chair from her hips downwards.

That's awful ... sounds like she could do with a 3 point selt belt/chair harness contraption that they have for toddlers. The type I'm thinking of are soft fabric ones ... like a sheet that fits over the back of a chair and under the person ... and then a T shaped section fits between the legs and ties at the sides.

Sounds like there's a gap in the market if there isn't something like this for adults.
  • mobile phone wise, i am with virgin, on their £10 something tariff, that I have gone over once, and that was when i was on holiday in september and my flight home got cancelled.

I have never gone over my text or call allowance, but i cant remember what it is!

This is why i dont have an i-phone. Yet. My mobile bill would double at the minimum!

iPhones have specific tariffs unlike none smartphone phones. Smartphone tariffs have a generous data, text and call allowance as opposed to none smartphone phones. ;)

I use my iPhone heavily when out and about and in 4 years I've only once ever came close to the limit for data (500mb) and texts are unlimited.

    Get them?
    I've worn them :)

I really like them and thought they were a steal at that price
What about you....did you get your size OK in the end?
I got a 7 & 8 my sister is looking at the 7 tomorrow as would go nowhere near my big feet :o The 8's well lets just say I have had words with Debs...they have been tried on previously and one foot stretched! Can't decide whether to keep them or not although I have been offered an exchange so may do that.

Off to bed now, night all take care.

Oooh and FN well done :)

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

Funny how it goes. I got trouted real bad the other day yet tongiht 2 CS sa's who were not only good as gold but practically found it amusing that I got such huge bargains.

I guess its because Tesco is like this that gives us our opportunities though.

Sorry you had a tough time. What stores gave you trouble?

Don't really want to say as a little paranoid at how involved the managers got. No DTD even after I got CS on phone who said to give it. Then they wanted my address and they sent someone out to get my car reg...

I got banned from my local over some meat and even with the CEO's CS in the loop they said it's the stores decision, so not sure they'd be much help given I've got that 'on file' so to speak...

I'd be calling the police! They have no business whatsoever doing that.

Radar or no radar, I'd be kicking up a right stink about that one with head office!!!

PM me the details if you want Hick.....the reason I say this is I had a bad experience in one store int he east midlands and know of two MSE'ers who regularly get loads of flack in certain stores over there. I'm just being nosey and trying to put all the pieces of the jigsaw together really.

How did they know you were driving? What would they do with your address/reg details? Were they accusing you of deliberate DTDing (as if!!) or stealing???

Now here's a good venue for an elite 11+ Flash Mob ... all stood in an orderly queue waiting for DTDs
