    Morning everyone.

Quiz today - ouch! The nice thing about multiple choice is that you have a reasonable chance of guessing some right even if you don't have a clue. Clearly need to read up on types of squash (veg not sport).

On the hunt today for OOD sels on half-price Easter Eggs .....

Does anyone know if T's price check this

    coffee.jpg

    In A's it £8.20 and inT's it's £12.25  Could produce a JTD voucher of £4.05

Never price-checked it but going by all 3 sites it should be OK as weight matches and both T and A showing as in stock. Worth a punt?

Wool I just read my post about you writing your story and realised that it probably came across that I was suggesting people wouldn't want to read your story. Please don't think that's what I was saying!! I am sure your story would be absolutely fascinating and something I would love to read. My comment was just regarding my own story and my persistent self doubt! :p:o I have nothing but admiration for you :A

I understood. Dont worry yourself! We were all put here to survive, just some roads are rockier than others.
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

I am amazed at the convoluted tales some of you lot come out with, if I return items I just say "this is unsuitable, I'd like a refund please" :)

I have 2 stores I take refunds to due to getting a big DTD in those stores and don't want to get DTDs there so will tell others about them. Because I know all the staff in one store they laugh about the refunds but if their boss is there they have to ask why it's being returned so we mess about with reasons because one of them likes the reason to be written down

On another note, I over heard 2 managers talking about the stores losses the previous week. They lost over £3000 on wastage, about £2000 on thefts and over £8000 on miss prices  Is it any wonder they don't like to give DTD in that store. They did say though that some of the losses were HO's fault due to wrong prices going through the system :rotfl:

Good morning all from the still frozen north!

Respect to whoever it was that wombled over 1000 points! I'm sure you're still smiling!

Found some of the cupcake serviettes yesterday, at 1p :D. Hope they restock by tomorrow so that I can get some more, think they'll be great to hand on to a colleague who's organising her own evening wedding function. Seems a long time since I last found a 1p item, so cheered me up.

Hope you all have a very good day.

That why I say the item is unsuitable, as thats a reason :p Never seen anyone write down a reason before, seems very strange *shrugs*

    Good morning all
Not too much to catch up on today. thats really why I dont post as I spend most of the time catching up and then with two young children they usually need me after that. (But I will ALWAYS add anything that will be useful for people)

Got my SW weigh in this morning. Not been following it all week. I got my club 10 last week and I think that might be why. Hoping the damage is not too much
I have loads and loads of SW recipes on PDF if anyone wants me to send them, please PM me and Ill email them all to you (No lurkers please)

For those who use tesco direct ; Ordered a fitted sheet half price last week. Bargain I thought. They called me the next day to tell me they were out of stock and they were going to refund my money. I said to the lady "so why have you taken payment of the sheet if you havent got them in stock?" I said thats very poor and Im disapointed that you it takes you 24 hours to take my payment but it takes 3-5 working days to put the money back on my card. she apologised and sent me a £5 money card.
The fitted sheet was only £3
    Result

Have a great DTD/glitchy day everyone
    Happy days

    Good morning all

Mightily impressed with your whoopsies Fudge:T
I never find Morrisons reductions are carried out at the same time across the various sections.
Meat and chilled seem to be done ages before the fruit and veg and bakery.
What time of day did you get yours?
I've not had much success with the bargains lately....all the stores around here seem to be on the ball and there's not much left or it's not been reduced by much :(

Sainsbob's seem to vary the times they do their reductions too. My nearest one is about 7.30 but the bigger one at Torquay seems to be any time between 7.30 and 9.00

I've never gone whoopsieing at any of the smaller lMetro/Express T's or the Sainsbobs locals....Has anyone found a good time for bargains there or is it better sticking to the bigger stores?
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
