Bought Panasonic telephone set at Mr T's for a friend recently and was asked if this was the correct price! First time this has happened 4 me. Makes me wonder whether they are cracking down on DTD.Luckily this wasn't DTD and I returned it the next day as not required. Others have said that they have been refused DTD if they went through the SS tills! I wonder whether all the checkouts have been told to ask about correct price. I will try again later and report back.0

Thanks, but as you may have gathered things are not that simple for me! Ds1 doesnt care for the fact that his surname is different, just that it links him to someone whose aim in life was to make mine worthless and thus his actions ended up with me being investigated for child abuse, my son being taken off me bya stupid judge and given to his father. End result, son was physchologically and metally abused by ex, ended up on anti depressants by age 13, was then put on child at risk register whilst in fatjers care, then put i to foster care. Took me 2 yrs to get him back and 'proove' i had not done things i was accussed of.
Court papers stipulate no name changes without fathers consent although he no longer has parental rsponsibilty.
OMG....I had no idea!! Poor you and what a traumatic time for both you and your son.
My daughter is currently at Uni studying for a degree in Social Work.
She wants to work with drug offenders/abusers though rather than specialise in children or the elderly.
She says that the case studies they have been given to read have highlighted awful mistakes made by Social workers where they have either not acted when they should have and the child has died as a result....or cases like yours where children have been taken away from parents where there has been no justification in doing so.
Mind you , she says that although drugs are a lifestyle choice for many....there are some really harrowing tales of how they have ended up addicts.
I assume your book is going to be based around what happened to you??
Will make for a very thought provoking read I think. Good luck with it.....and if you need another proof reader let me know....I used to do this when I worked for an advertising company years agoMy husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

Before i have to go, just wanted to say many many thanks for all of your kind words and supportive comments. I dont have friends really since this part of my life and it split my family too as 'the weaker ones ' as i call them! Double crossed me in spectacular fashion for their own gain. The lack of friends is partially my fault. Everytime something happened and id talk to them about it, they never believed me whole heartedly and to be honest, i never told any of them everything because it was embarrassing. How do you explain that a judge decided you cant have your child because your ex said something that was made up just to spite you? It wasnt surprising really! And once you mention social service being involved evryone thinks there must be something wrong Solicitors and courts took over my life.
Anyway, what im trying to say is simples....thank you all xPlease don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0 -
