Major trouting in the East Mids tonight and I didn't even pick up all of the OOD sel items. Sometimes hard to find a good balance between staying under the radar and getting a good reward
FK seems to have done fine tonight tho!0 -

Can I ask if you mooch on foot or drive? I've only ever tried circling the carpark once and tbh felt a bit like a curb crawler.
My MO is targeting messy trollies and tutting under my breath at the state some people leave them in ... or doing a smooth "dip and pick" on the way in and out of the store.0 -

Mr3Dogs text me to say he'd lost 1 1/2 lbs, but I found it
Gained 1 1/2 pounds - too many of Mam's biccies and choccie buttons when I am feeding her, plus chocs at home at night time
I have never had kids, but now appreciate what Mum's say when they finish off their kids food, and it is just like that when feeding Mam. Not that I would finish off her main meals  pureed meat, gravy and veg  but her ice cream, cake & custard and biccies .... I just have to taste them to see if they are ok for her
I got to the home to see mam tonight just 10 minutes after my sister, who had found her right down her chair, with her head awkwardly tucked up where her bottom should be and her legs off the chair from her hips downwards. She'd got the carers to get her up and they popped her into bed with her clothes on, just took her trousers off her, for her dinner and they would sort her out later when they settled her for the night. My sister was quite shaken and angry at the way she had found her, and had aasked how long it had been since they checked on her, but the nurse had been down about 30 minutes earlier to check on her as she was shouting then. The chair in that room is not suitable for her as she is so light and has not the strength the keep herself upright, so they are going to put her chair in the tv lounge and take her up there tomorrow so they can see how she is on it, otherwise they will see about swapping chairs around, hopefully getting the one out of her old room which hadn't given this problem at all, problem being there is someone else in her old room now
Anyway, once in the bed, she was fine and ate her meal and pud then a cuppa and dunked biccies, and was happy enough when we left at 6.40 pm
:eek::mad::mad::mad::mad::eek::(:(:(:(:eek:
Awww 3 dogs, that's so horrible, your poor Mum :Axx
Regarding your blip in the diet, please don't let it get you down and take it to heart. You've got a lot on atm and sometimes these things go a wry. You'll get there'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -

Do the SA never express a comment on the 'high' price?
Twice now when I was making my inital purchase to get a DTD the SA has said something along the lines of "Gosh they're expensive" and then waited for me to say it's OK to continue.:o0 -
That does remind me that I did once post a prawn back to M&S, quite seriously. I bought a prawn cocktail with other stuff for dinner years ago and when I opened the prawn cocktail it had little black bits on one of the prawns, so I put it in a little clear bag and posted it to CS with a letter and they did send me a voucher as I sent the whole receipt and said it for an anniversary dinner and the whole evening was ruined as prawn cocktail was my DH's favourite;)

Hi
I parked atbthe far end of the car park for my mooch and looked quite genuine with fag in hand just strolling around the trolley parks whilst nattering with my mum on the phone
Oh an singing the wombling tune to her too when she asked what I was doing!
Note to self park at far end is a good idea any excuse to look at all the messy abandoned trollies on the way to store

Funny how it goes. I got trouted real bad the other day yet tongiht 2 CS sa's who were not only good as gold but practically found it amusing that I got such huge bargains.
I guess its because Tesco is like this that gives us our opportunities though.
Sorry you had a tough time. What stores gave you trouble?0
