I'm not very well read ... besides which I don't get the chance to read these days (other than this thread that is).

When I did read it was mostly Patricia Cornwell/James Patterson et al.

Hey Snap-ant how are you and how's your Dad doing? :Axx

Thank you Fudge for asking, Dad is getting better, still in hospital & was ultra scanned today to see if he has a DVT. Best place but he's getting bored & restless so must be improving.
Older sister going to visit him but is staying with her MIL. I did ask Mum if I could come as well & stay with her but she is still flapping. Her words are 'I can't stop you coming, but it would be better when Dad is here & settled'
I have a week off soon so I'll wait till then. Meanwhile I'll give the Lindor Bells to sister to give to my Daddy ♥

  • Not been up to much today, exchanging 0-3 mth baby clothes and nappies for the next size up due to a much bigger cousin than we expected I'm just glad I found all the reciepts for them all.
Cousin and her new son got home this evening but we're going to see him tomorrow to give them some time along with him before everyone ends up at their house.

Need a good glitch on baby stuff, quite like a few other people on this thread. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

    Goodnight all

    Gold blend is a good one , £6.48 Mr T , £4 Mr A for a nice price check too!!:D:D

    Every little helps!!!:D:D:D

    Me too ...

... or you could get 4 meal deals as detailed by Josie on Thread 12 apparently it's still going strong
    • Montepulciano D'abruzzo Wine £8.29 T's £5.00 A's (get it from the wine section as the wine and SEL have been removed from the meal deal section)
    • Fougasse £1.99 T's / £1.25 A's
    ... then and get £16.12 JTD (4 x £4.03 = £3.29 + 74p) ...

Oh and another £5 off £40.

Then again you could always get 6 meal deals ... get an extra 5% discount and then a 10p off you petrol voucher ... only prob you'll have gone over the £20 max JTD.

Nah ... 4 meal deals and something for £20 that won't match (duvet set?) to be returned??? Or is this toooooo naughty? ;)

Aw you poor thing :( You and your family are really going through the mill at the moment. And no need for thank you's, you're welcome! You're always on the ball and so caring towards others on here :A

Boredom is always a very good sign ;):p Not the easiest symptom to deal with but still a good sign! :)

Had he got a DVT? Have they started him on clexane injections?

Oh deary, that's very difficult when you just want to be a help and your Mum's looking at your visiting as more of a hinderance :( I suppose in a way, if you do go down when Dad's back at home, you'll be able to spend a lot more time with him and it's when he's home that he'll need a little more support, becoming more independent and so forth. It doesn't make it any easier on you in the meantime though, wishing you could do something to help :( But take comfort in the fact that you've done all you can and you've offered :) Can you go for a day trip or is it too far?

Oh he'll certainly appreciate Lindor :Dxxx
