Argh help! I just cut a ten pound note completely in half is it still legal tender if I tape it back together?!

hello guys been away to Edinburgh for weekend, we were away with friends went to scotland england game at murrayfield (we don't talk about the result tho lol) not been near a tesco's since thursday, seriously need a big glitch to get me going again. missed you all hope everyone and the familys are all well nd everyone had a nice weekend also. too much to catch up on and too tired to go back. off to bed my friends i missed you xxxxxxxxxxx

Don't worry, it'll be fine taped back together , it's still legal tender, even if a bit is missing, so long as the whole of the serial number is present

Thank you both now to find the tape! Not magic just stupidity! Had put money in envelope for DS trip and milk and realised after I sealed it I forgot the reply slip so cut envelope open and straight through money! doh!! Another one for OH to rib me for lol. I got a fab DTD on a Remington ages ago that I was going to gift to the ex. Given that ship sailed, I thought about returning it but the 'lovely' CS trout scribbled all over the receipt that I wouldn't be able to return it for a refund or exchange, but after all, the item hadn't cost me a penny anyway. I wish I'd known my rights as that could have been a nice healthy profit. Instead I have an electric shaver that no-one wants :eek:

Loving the murals but I must admit to having a soft spot for WTP. DS1s bedroom was painted plain white and I bought massive WTP wall decals to brighten it up. I wish my art skills were better as it cost £30 for the decals and I've no idea if I can take them off when I move
