Changing the subject i popped into mr T's last night and whilst i was there thought i would ask them to put my receipts into clubcard so i could have the extra points. I gave them to the sa and she said sorry i can't do all those for you - only two at a time, so i asked why? she said you wouldn't believe the amount of people that go around picking up receipts and getting us to put them on their clubcards, when they haven't even bought the stuff :eek::eek:

Laughed like mad at this one - how did you keep a straight face

About you F-i-L and home care, after my friend/neighbour had the first op on her leg when she broke it below the knee, she was told that she couldn't have any help in the house as she wasn't 65  Then when she had the second op, and was even worse, they said she was not 'suitable' for any assisitance around the house   I would add that she is on DLA, top level mobility and lower level Personal Care, though how they class her as lower for P Care I just do not know  As others have said, you must check out Attendance Allowance as that will stand him in better stead when assessing for help in the house

You predicted this! Will you go and pick him up?

No offence, but what kind of muppet lets their battery go flat when out in that weather. Especially a teenager? I'm 31 and when my battery gets to 15% I stop using it in case I need it in an emergency when I'm out.:A:A

I'd attempt to pick him up if I knew where he was, but he's somewhere between Oxford Street & Ruislip:eek::eek::eek:The trains are only going as far as Wembley. OH is going ballistic and telling me if I get the car out and have an accident he'll never forgive me, the roads are really bad:(But I know that's what I'll end up doing. He's with 6 others and I can't get them all in my car even if I find them. Hopefully he'll borrow someones mobile and phone me soon! And he never took his door key either, I could happily throttle him at the moment;);)
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

Lala hope your DS manages to get home safely! Please do keep us informed.

YSYL- there is something that you can go on that allows you to compare speed of broadband close to you and also what people rate it. Can't remember site name though.
Also before you sign up for anything check for cashback.
With regards to phone call them up and see what they can do for you, though it does depend on what your normal monthly spend is as they have a specific formula (most of the time) for offering better tariffs.

Know what you mean though about being lazy with paying things I go crazy at my OH for not paying stuff on time! My biggest bug bear is he has a contract that his brother is supposed to pay for and we never get the money until 2 weeks after the bill has left the account!

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)
