Browntoa has a thing against chat on that thread but people want to chat, they don't want two separate threads.
NSD thread?
Personally I think MTs requests are and example of how people interperet the written word in different ways - I always assume that she's just busy and trying to be clear.
I don't have a problem with two different threads per-se, I appreciate people have different amounts of online time available but I do understand the rationale behind it. However, I think there is a grey area between what is 'relevant' chat and what it chatter chat and a number of people are getting hacked off by having what they think is coupon related ie 'I used x y z coupons today when I purchased a b c' (even this seems frowned upon atm) versus 'I took the dog for a walk and saw a UFO while I was out' chat. It's all the moving of posts that is strangling the thread, which is a real shame
Oh, NSD is No Spend Day - it's a monthly challenge on the DFW board.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I'm going to get one when I go off on my get well holiday. I really should start looking at the websites to see what is available I think Walmart or Staples will be the best bet maybe any of the big supermarkets

Completely OT....but can I pick your brains about an IPad HC.
I know they are just for internet rather than using as a WP etc. but what exactly does it do and what sort of apps are there that someone like me would find useful? Also are they all free or do the better ones cost a small fortune?
What size screen does it have and are they easy to use?
I'm thinking of treating myself to one rather than an IPhone as I don't really leave the house that much (I know...very sad!!) but just wondered if it's something I'd like or whether they are a bit faddy. I'm fine with my lappie but I'm not a real techie personMy husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

does your (sorry, I cant remember his/her name) ginger one's nose go red when he/she is cold? Mine is a pinky nose and when she's been out in the cold, she comes back in with a nose that could put rudolph to shame!
We used to have a tabby & white cat with a pink nose, we always knew when he wasn't well it went a dull white colour0 -

Few inches of snow here (c8mbs) earliers and local Ts went mad - whoopsy shelves cleared as well as all the milk! I think from the huge trolleys people were thinking we were getting snowed in. I wish I'd had the time to stay and womble - I'm sure there would have been some REALLY good ones, but I had to run (my puppy got spayed yesterday and despite the buster collar I didn't want to leave her too long).
Hope people got some good receipts.0
