does your (sorry, I cant remember his/her name) ginger one's nose go red when he/she is cold? Mine is a pinky nose and when she's been out in the cold, she comes back in with a nose that could put rudolph to shame!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Raining here too and temperature is going up. We always seem to miss the snow in P**le. Can be surrounded by it but we seem to have our own micro climate.0 -

Sorry, have to disagree with your thinking.
Years ago I worked in a supermarket and would always do the following:
1. Hand back coins into customers hand first
2. Hand back notes second
3. Fold receipt in half (and sometimes in half again) and place on customers hand last
Reasons for the above:
1. There's nothing worse than coins being placed on top of notes and trying to get them into your pocket/purse
2. As per reason 1
3. People generally want to put notes & receipts into their pocket/purse. By folding into a suitable size the customer isn't left standing at the till for ages trying to sort out coins & bits of paper and by folding it in on itself, you are protecting the stuff that's printed on the receiptMinnie-the-Minx wrote: »So many shop assistants do this and it really winds me up - inevitably, you drop most of the coins.
I hate that thing of putting coins on top of notes, when I worked in T's years ago (yes, I know!) and in other shops since, I always hand over notes and then change, then receipt. If I'm being given the change, I generally snatch my hand away the minute the note/change is in my hand, deposit that in my purse and reach back out for the rest :rotfl:
Mind you, all this is nothing to Maccy D's who love to hand you your 4 BBQ sauces from their two hands into your one, I have quite large hands for a girl but even I struggle - why do they do it?!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

His nose never goes red but goes a very bright pink, he looks wonderful! It makes me laugh too as he often goes out to get wet so he can come in and get dried off :rotfl:
I need to buy another pink duvet like the one I had (that he ruined!), as a ginger cat he looks incredible against pink, it's a bit wrong as he's a boy but he looks soooo sweet! No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
