I don't know whats goin on today, I just went over to HUKD and some poor soul had posted a holiday deal he had made, it was quite good although I made the same trip up for a lot less last year (didn't tell them that).
You should have seen the beating he got, everything was wrong and they were really rude so I am afraid I lost it a bit and called them muppets, I know its strong but they deserve it.0 -

Just want to say another general THANKS to all on this thread. Over the last few weeks I've read quite a few posts that got me thinking about dtd on wine and how several of you seem to be getting free wine regularly. I was on my way to the beer aisle today so went via the wine aisle on the off chance that there might be some out of date sels.
About one in six/seven sels were out of date, but there was no stock on the shelf for any of them. Then, I then came across Calloway Crossing Chardonnay at £4.99 half price with a sel that expired on 31 January. Had a quick check on the self scan and a bottle scanned at £9.99. Happy, happy days!! Picked up the last six bottles, paid and then went to CS. DTD of £60 paid by a lovely young sa with no problems at all (despite the fact that an evil trout I came across last weekend was right beside her!!).
A nice bonus was that I got an additional £3.00 off as I bought six bottles (5% off 6 bottles or more). End result, sa didn't notice, so I was paid £3 to take away 6 bottles of £9.99 wine!!
Just a pity that Asda don't stock the wine to compare on the Price Checker!

Snowing in Berkshire which I am not pleased about as a) I need to go out tomorrow, b) it's bad for Wombles
For those who were asking about the 300 cc points from Tesco Bank - it was for the Car Insurance quote that Karlie888 (I think) put us onto a while back.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
