Frequent - would you consider taking on an apprentice? or starting a separate thread for those that would like to learn? or adding a beginners guide here? or pointing us in the direction of somewhere good to start?

I'm not too thick and have done a bit of gambling in my time so not totally unfamiliar with the likes of Betfair. I would love to have a piece of the action but am not sure where to start.

    Thank you.

I handed in a wallet to the police with £270 in a few years back, I had a letter saying it had been claimed by so and so at so and so address but NO thank you off the person

I found a wallet a few years ago in a carpark, had £150 cash and several credit/debit cards in it. Also had several of the same business cards so I called the number and asked the man if he had lost a wallet, he said yes and could tell me what was in it. I told him where I was, he was in a building about 5 mins walk away, he said 'you can return my wallet to me here, I will let security know you are expected' . I told him he could come and get it , he then replied 'I am in a meeting so will be there in 1 hour'. I said 'OK, I will leave it on your car bonnet if you tell me your car'. He was there within 5 mins and just snatched it off me, no thank-you at all.

  • Hi everyone and Good Morning!

I don't post very often - only when I actually find something, which isn't too often unfortunately! But I love reading all the banter and stories and also do the quiz every day as well.

But I wanted to thank Spirallingdown for her post about the Batman and Spiderman toys - I went out last night to Westw**d and found loads on the shelf and they scanned at 76p and 49p. Took 2 of the Batman ones and 3 Spiderman ones for my grandson's birthday. Really pleased to get them! And still lots left for all you lurkers who clear the shelves and never report back about anything in Th*n*t.

Checked the Bob the Builder toy but the SEL was the correct price.

Also wanted to try my hand at this whoopsieing lark - very much a novice - but I struck lucky at Sainsburys with the fruit and veg and got asparagus, cucumber, casserole veg and bag of peppers all for 20p each and then got some nice pork escalope thingies for £1.75 so very pleased with my first attempt and will probably get addicted to doing it!

No snow yet down here but a white frost over everything. The snow is supposed to hit this evening - I'm staying put today!
  • Morning everyone.

I'm in central scotland. No snow here, in fact it's raining so the temperature must have risen here! Hope all you softie southerners can keep warm!

Have 17 so sent them in and they sent me 5 codes
I know I should have sent them in 4's but thought I would chance it and it paid off and just entered them on the double up for andrex so got a nice lil stash of points
Disappointed on the rewards at the mo so will save them till there is a cuddly dog back on there
Cheers to the op who mentioned about sending them in
