I used a JTD voucher yesterday and the SA scribbled out the info along the bottom that you put into the price checker, I wondered if it was to stop wombling?

I've had a couple of very small :( JTD lately the staff really don't have a clue about them, they all want to keep the receipt, out of sheer awkwardness I won't let them because it only says you have to show the receipt. I tell them they are welcome to write whatever they like on it.

I handed in a wallet to the police with £270 in a few years back, I had a letter saying it had been claimed by so and so at so and so address but NO thank you off the person

I found a wallet on 23rd Dec a few years back in a crowded pub/restaurant I didn't want to hand it in over the bar as there were so many people about, I checked inside the wallet there was £240 but no address or phone number, so decided the police station was my best option, as I left the pub there was this elderly man turfing everything out of his car, I asked if he was ok and he told me he had lost his wallet with £240 in which was his grandchildrens Xmas money, he was so grateful he insisted I had £40, I "haggled" him down to £20 :)

This was the first SA to do this, it wasn't a huge JTD (£1.7?) but it made me think of the 5 receipts I had in my pocket from my carpark womble :)

A few years ago I found some money in a wallet Ithought to myself if I had lost my wallet what chance of it being returned to me. So I kept the money and sent the wallet back to the owner anominesly

Oh dear you're back, I think thats my cue to have a hot bath & go and sit in the freezing cold for 2 hours watching 22 men kick a ball around.
