Just a quick pop on to catch up, hi everyone, no I'm not lost in Ts, just lost in the million and one things I have to do this week.

Big hi to Frequent, nice to know someone missed me lol.

Meerkatsmimm, many congrats and glad you had the water birth you wanted. Both kiddies are gorg. Don't forget to sign up to Emmas Diary for the vouchers and get the newborn starter kit from Asda with more vouchers (hope this makes sense but if not pop over to the coupon thread).

Well done Karlie88 for passing the exams.

Well done to Chezniacha's (sp?) OH for the new job.

JJ will you come and live with me and be my personal chef lol, you so put me to shame when it comes to cooking.

Fudge2 well done for yet more fab finds. Good to see the Ts shopping master is still on form.

HappyChappy, why would the SA not fancy you, you are a good looking fella. OK so she may not be
your type but accept the complement and be proud you've still got it ;-).

Laura Cello, I think you shop at my local. I got 4 pks of the Lindt choc eggs on Monday. Check the clip strips for ones that are dated 03/12. The ones that are dated 08/12 are full price. Don't worry too much about the shape as the pks I got for 1p were egg shaped not round (hope that makes sense). Also there are loadsa Little miss princess jelly sweets for 10p down the sweet isle. They are next to the other Mr Men jelly sweets (which are not reduced but watch this space).

Managed to get two £10 meal deals with the full chickens and bottles of wine for £15 using a £5 off £25 spend at M&S. Given that the wine was £6.99 per bottle and the chickens were priced at £5.48 each, thought it was a good deal.

Used a £5 off £25 spend and a £5 off £40 spend along with loadsa money off vouchers at Ts on Monday. The clothes are going back as they really don't fit well. I also picked up one of the 'about fruit' books that you get free with a £40 spend (pointless publication IMHO but as it was free, would be rude not to really).

All in all, been a good week for shopping, big thanks to all the OPs that gave me the info and ideas to maximise the shopping opportunities.

Wishing you all a wonderful evening and hope to catch up with you all again during the weekend.

Happy days DSG, glad your doing well.

Speaking of Happy, anyone checked behind the sofa ?
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

evening finally got the little mongrels to bed, DS2 is super poorly tonight so might go to bed early in anticipation of a rough night:(
    :(

meerkatsmimm BIG CONGRATULATIONS AND FANTASTIC PIC!!! Do take on board everyone's advice and take it easy, make use of family and friends for household chores....... but don't leave it too long before you get back to T's:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:i'm defo getting broody but would need a new man and a new body before i could have anymore....lol:D
piched from the tesco mega reductions thread

A lady in front of me in Tesco (Foster Sq, Bradford) had a Mega Blox Pink & Purple decent sized box at the till. It was marked up at half price £15, but went through at £10!.

these are the same ones that alot of us were getting DTd on last yr when they scanned at £30:eek::eek: i still have several put away and gave several away at the time, quite a few toys i notice are on RTc now but still not cheap enough for me lol, no RC cars for me today either:( and the lazer cars correctly priced
Oh and almost forgot - a nice little dtd on greeting cards...they were the cheaper ones, stickers on them for prices, but with another sticker saying, 'Half the marked price'. Sadly, they went through at full price c05129.gif so that's most birthdays and occasions sorted for this year.

Hi please could you tell us if these were with the normal cards , were they singles and were they particular occasions or just birthdays, TIA x

ok, so.............my OOD SEL finds to look out for

Breville 2200W iron barcode ending 45353 mint green colour SEL £20 scanned £40

Hoover Rush pets Bagless Hoover TCR4237-001 SEL £75 scanned £200

(best thing was paid on OH's debit card, got£250 DTD back CASH no questions asked!!!!!) offers expired on 29th

sel's now removed though sorry no point telling you guys store, plus i need to keep a low profile

also play doh still scanning at 1p
hannah montana wrap still around at 5p
    1p splenda still around

Found some light up yoyos got loads in summer for 20p thought yay they would scan at 1p lol like the play do but eek scanned at 98p:eek::eek: hastily put the whole clip strip back:rotfl:

as i have not been following the thread in great detail had no idea what was what so took loads of random slip strip items to SS totally wound the SA up:D as none of them reduced so had to keep cancelling them!

founds some halloween illooms (pumpkin and scary face and shrek-all scanned at 88p , shrek was 75p)

ps i have a new laptop a few months old now but it has never let me on the tesco site, also certain other sites like my DS was trying to play games on the cbeebies site-site came up but games came up blank, not sure how to sort it-tried pop up blocker and security settings but nothing helps sort it, getting a bit cheesed off as can't click on links to the tesco site from the forum or post links myself, anyone have any bright ideas pls??

Well, I am FREEZING!!! Took the kids to a good spot for stargazing. Got to use my astronomy laser pen for the first time. We were all fighting for it:rotfl: We even had fun with it driving there. Some kids were playing around on the bikes. We pointed it at some bushes and they were all wondering what on earth it was :rotfl:
First time we have had the binoculars out too in a loooong while.

Gonna have to get a hot water bottle for my feet. My toes need defrosting!!!

Hi Folks , I was wondering if any of you could offer some advice .

I've followed most of the MSE posters suggestions on ways of serving and cooking on a avariety of machines from using a slow cooker , fan assisted , micro , turbo , steam , boil in the bag , stir fry , grill or bake etc etc etc ..... but I'm still having trouble making the 1p clip strip bargain Tony Bennett The Classic Christmas Album CD taste nice .

    Waste of money .

I feel for you with the poorly kid issue. The boys had me up just about every hour last night so for the first time in months, I had to resort to taking them both up for a nap so I could get a couple of hours.

As for the sites being blocked, is it only with one browser e.g. Internet Exlporer? Have you tried Firefox or Chrome? Also, do you have anti-virus installed? I used to have problems with Norton doing that years ago. Might be worthwhile stopping your firewall temporarily to see if that makes a difference.

    Hi all
Just logged on so not had a chance to catch up since last night yet.
Went to the big Extra at L££ Mill and the smaller one at Rob0rough Plym0uth after printing off all of the wines that had gone back to full price.....and left the list at home!!
So I don't know what they were but from having a quick scout around it looked as though the SEL's were up to date anyway.

I manged to find some of the Disney stockings for 1p, (plenty left at Roborough)
some more of the descalers for 1p,
a cuddle me money box 22p,
four me to you key rings 20p,
a solitary scotch brite easy eraser (so they are still around!)
Also got the Platinum band dinner service rtc at £4.20
And a pair of silentnight feather pillows rtc £8.20.....all the silentnight stuff has been further reduced now.
And at R0b0rough I got severely trouted but amazingly stood my ground on a DTD for a Breville Iron SEL £20. scanned £40.
She tried to tell me that DTD only applied on certain things, so I said OK that's fine. You just refund me the difference and I'll query your policy with Head Office....I'll just make a note of your name so they can contact you if necessary.
    !!

well done purdita what a haul!!! you got the same iron as me!!
i tried scanning some me to you keyrings today scanned at £5:eek::eek::eek:

does anyone have pics or anymore details for these items, they all looked the same to me
    thanks x

Good evening all, no decent finds in my store, so few whoopsies that you knew people had been buying them at half price.

However, did find packs of childrens conical card party hats (maybe 6 in a pack?) Tried scanning, refer to staff member, but might go through at 1p if someone finds them in different sized stores.

Plenty of Christmas Nivea sets, but at £1.25, thought I'd wait to see if they go down further! :D

There were a few Nivea sets today but someone had opened them squashed them & generally mangled them
