Also has anyone got any suggestions what to do with a bulb of Fennel (clean answers please!) DH picked one up whoopsied to 24p, was going to bake it in the oven, but thought that some of you would have more exciting options thanks IA

Maybe there's a pattern here....anything abbreviated is a no go for me :D

Aww that's rubbish :( I did manage OEP, just wishing I had got more now as all my Nachips are done ;):rotfl:

    soup?
    Potato and fennel soup?
    Carrot and fennel soup?
    Cream of fennel soup?

If wanting to test out a new ingredient, soup is usually the way forward for me!!

    Peel and slice
    Boil for 5 mins
Drain and pop in an ovenproof dish
    Add thinly sliced garlic
add double cream just to cover
    sprinkle in nutmeg
Top with strong cheese mixed with breadcrumbs and herbs
    Bake for 20-30 mins :)

caz yes you're right incubation period for a common cold is about 2-3 days but there are over 200 viruses that circulate and cause the same symptoms, how could you ever prove it was your ex and his other child that are reinfecting your sons, i agree that they could just as easily have picked the virus up in town or at nursery etc, sorry-big hugs hun XXXXXXX

Even if I had proof there's nothing I could do anyway. Just annoys me that the boys end up sick, I spend Mon - Fri getting frazzled looking after them then he gets to waltz in on Saturday like nothing has happened and spend the day having fun while I end up in bed trying to catch up on lost sleep.

As for the Scotch-Brite stuff, most of their sponges/scourers on clip-strips seem to be 1p.

DS1 is downstairs again (3rd time so far). Away to remind him that bed is upstairs then I can have a  to relax.
