OMG ... What an horrific accident! Poor DD1 and DD1's friends family ... an absolute nightmare! Can't think of anything else to say ... absolutely awful.
Thanks but nothing anyone can really say i'm just trying to play it cool and tell her that these things happen, but it's a lot for a 15yr old to take but also a learning curve. The boy that it happened to was treated badly in life by his parents and it was an attempt to end his life, so sad and shame on the parents.

My missus dressed up as a police woman last night and giggled, "You're being charged for being good in bed..."
After 2 minutes she said she was dropping the charge due to lack of evidence.Democracy: Where any two idiots can outvote a genius.0 -

Thanks Lovelies for being here for me & my Dad ♥
Dad is now in hospital awaiting to be seen. The Dr who came to the house suspects he has a fractured pelvis. Paramedics had to give him laughing gas to get him on the stretcher to get him out of house as he can't sit up.
Anyway I did interfere & rang their best friends & they have been superb, wanting to help Mum :T offering lifts, staying with her etc etc ♥
Snap-ant, I'm so pleased that your mums friends have been so much help and that your dad is now being looked after in hospital. Hopefully this will help put your mind at ease, until your able to go and see them xxCookieRaider wrote: »DD1 is going through her first proper trauma in life she is only 15 and her friend was hit by a train last night, both legs have had to be cut off aswell as an arm and is also now blind and on life support with brain damage and DD1 is still in shock as are all her friends
 that's awful news for your DD to have and such a terrible shame and so sad, that her friend felt that he wanted to end his life
It will be hard for your DD to comprehend what has happened, but in time she will get through it and come out the other end.
I lost a friend when I was 11. Her and her mother were killed in a car accident whilst on holiday, and her father almost died too. Her brother was the only one to escape unhurt. But the worst part of it was that her mother was driving and she was sitting behind her, and it was the impact of my friend against the drivers seat that killed her mother
It was really hard at the time, to comprehend that she wasn't coming back from her holiday, and the funeral was a bit of a blur, but our school handled it all really well and we all got through it.
Your DD will have friends feeling the same way as her and they will be there for each other too :heart2:A clinically depressed person with a sleep condition. I'm in my own little world, but it's ok the people like me here

Brilliant ... thanks for this Fudge!
My eldery neighbour died nearly 2 yrs ago, the house is still empty and the new owners have builders in but the back garden has a fuschia bush ... (and maybe more?) ... I may have to nip over and take a cutting. I suppose I'd better wait till the weather gets a bit better(?)
I have never actually taken a cutting from a Fuschia, but they are meant to be incredibly easy to grow.
You will need to take the cutting before flowering starts and keep it in the warm until the last signs of frost have passed.
Then gradually harden the plant off by placing it outside in the sun starting at a few hours a day and bringing it inside at night. Slowly increase this time over a few wks and then probably plant out, about May or June.
I also found this link, that might help you

Just a little bit of a catch up from me
Bensons mum - So sorry to hear you haven't been able to go and see your FIL, it must be really hard for you and OH. I hope that the hospital manages to get things sorted soon, so you can both go and see him :heart2:
Fudge cake - Wow, sounds like you and your mum have been through quite a lot. It is a credit to you and your mum that you have turned into such a thoughtful, happy and well rounded person. I always love reading your posts as you always seem to have just the right words to say to people and take the time to send such lovely wishes to everyone :A. Your cakes are absolutely amazing too :T
Spiralingdown - :T for the info on the top trumps chocolate gift set. I managed to get one for my friends football mad DS, he's going to love it
Re your bike question. If you have an independant bike shop near you, it may well be worth a visit. They will be able to tell you all you need to know and recommend the best bike for you. If they are too expensive, then you don't need to buy the bike from them, you can just tell them you want to go away and think about it.
The other thing I would recommend (and don't want to seem rude) is a gel saddle. I hadn't ridden my bike for years and gained quite a bit of weight since I last rode it, I found that the ordinary saddle, was, shall we say a bit uncomfortable on my larger backside. My bike addict friend, fitted a gel saddle for me and this was much more comfortable. It was not only softer, but wider too, making for a much more comfortable ride and no more sore !!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl:
And lastly re your DTD problem. If the items were the same then the barcode is pretty irrelevant. For example the childrens jigsaw puzzles or the bug eyed TY beanies, all carry different barcodes, but they are all shown using the same sel, which will only ever show a maximum of 2 barcodes.
So providing they were just different variations of the same thing, you would definately be entitled to DTD on all of them.
hth
Celebrate - That is terrible what they did to you in t's  definately worthy of a complaint to HO.
Mks - So sorry that your DGD is poorly, sending lots of :heart2: and :grouphug:'s to you and your family and hoping she is better soon xx
Hennypenny79 - Wow, your cake pops are fab :T. I brought myself a cakepop machine just before xmas, but haven't had the chance to put it to the test yet. Did you make these in a machine or did you shape them by hand?
Floflo - Glad to hear your mum is on the mend and giving the staff hell. This is exactly how we know when my dad is starting to feel a bit better, when he has the nurses running round after him, lol
Blondygp - Sorry to take so long to reply. The best thing is to phone HO. The number should be on the first page of this thread. hth
Czerniacha - Bit belated, sorrybut really pleased your OH got the job :j, but
that your bike got stolen. You should definately report it to the police though as they quite often find bikes a few months down the line. Often the people who steal them, have quite a collection and are caught up with in the end.
If you don't report it and it gets found, then they will just auction it off, so never hurts to tell them just in case.
Also sending :grouphug:'s for your mum. Hope she is on the mend soon xx
And to anyone else I may have forgotten, lots of :heart2:and :grouphug:'s to everyone that needs them xxxxA clinically depressed person with a sleep condition. I'm in my own little world, but it's ok the people like me here
