I miss a couple of days and momentous things happen! A belated welcome back HC, and thanks and well done to Nikki and the mods (sounds like a pop group LOL).

Someone sent me this, I think you'll like it. The bit at the end can be in honour of Happy's return.

    Hope is not a strategy.

    :)

Just spoken to my Dad regarding me calling their friends, if they are happy with this (interfering more like - you know the olds)
Dad says - No we can cope  Are you speaking on Mum's behalf? as I listen to them trying to get him upright :(

He wants to go to hospital so fingers crossed :)

Sorry to hear about your dad, Snap-ant. I'm sure the doctor/hospital will do everything they can for him when they see him. If I were you I'd go over tomorrow anyway, regardless of what they say. Family's too precious to risk regretting not doing something.

Here you are :coffee: Turkish Delight drinking chocolate enjoy. Help yourself to the cream and mallows.

after popping onto that fangled weight machine this morning I think I'd better skip the creme & mallows ....I think the machine must be broken ....as I only stepped on and stepped off very quickly it wouldn't have had time to go up the scale that far !!

Spuds are normally a good thing to plant first if the ground has not been tended to for a while as they are great at clearing the soil
    hth :)

Thanks fudge2. Guy at work suggested for the first year to limit myself to 6 crops and then if all goes well (!) increase variety the following spring. Definately want potatoes as we eat huge amounts of these, but would also like carrots, onions and beans. Youngest DD has allocated herself a largish chunk of the plot to grow flowers and she will be choosing herself what to plant, so will be an interesting mix between the pair of us.
