Just off to spend my £5 off N07 vouchers in Boots which expire tomorrow

    Hi Nikki

Had a few of these vouchers myself (got one each time I got some vits in the glitch even though I always spent a lot less than £5!). In my store the No 7 mini brush kits were RTC to £6.03 so not bad for £1.03. In one store the SEL said £9, but still scanned at the lower price, so may be worth asking SA to check if they are something you'd like to pick up as may be national reduction.

this is the stray we took in a while back (after a monumental 6 month struggle to get him indoors) and when we did he wouldn't go up on any furniture or chairs , stayed firmly footed to the floor .
I'd say he was settled now ...and no wonder our little nick nacks keep on getting broke .

I want to be there to help

Trying to get hold of Mum's friend who is a nurse to see if she can call in but no answer - she crews sailing ships around the world..
Looks like it will be tomorrow as last train is 4.40pm & I'll get to Haslemere at 10.30pm tonight - just don't want to travel & tube it across London so late on my own (is this selfish? what to do?)

That is not selfish and your mum probably wouldn't want you to do that either!! Does she have a neighbour she could call on if she was stuck??

    :(:(

My Mum has just rung to say my Dad is not at all well. He fell a few days ago & now can't walk. Dr is on his way within the next 3 hours.
He was parallelised from the waist down a while ago but did get some feeling back & can walk clumsily.
Last night he fell again trying to get out of bed & banged his head :(

My dilemma is do I jump on a train to Surrey? I've asked Mum if she needs me there & she said no.
But I know she can't cope with lifting him as she's over 75. I'm going to ring her friends & see if they can call in.
Will Dr send Dad to hospital? I hope so as he will be xrayed & dealt with.
I will know more after the Dr has been. Meanwhile I will pack a case. Unfortunately if it gets too late today I've only got another 2 trains that leave here today................aaarrgghhhhh

    Dilemma

Snap-Ant, that's awful news :(, I do hope you dad will be ok.
It's best not too panic about things really, I know that can be hard sometimes. Your mum prob says she doesn't need you as she doesn't want you to worry, but I'm sure she would be really pleased if you could be with her.
Are you able to go? I think calling her friends to be with her is a good idea and waiting to see what the doc says first too, it's a shame about the trains. You could catch one tomorrow though, when you know more.
You should do what feels right for you and I'm sending huge :grouphug:'s and lots of :heart2: to you, your mum and your dad.

I think going tomorrow will be the right decision, travelling on the tube late at night not advisable on your own. Hope everything will be OK with your Dad...thinking of you..x
