This is probably a stupid question to all of you (and one with an obvious answer!) but I still haven't figured out how to quote more than one post when replying to a thread?
I've seen people do this but my little brain can't work it out all by itself! Pls help...

you need more than one window open and in your second window click quote then copy and paste it into the reply box in your first windowI am a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Wales, Small Biz MoneySaving, In My Home (includes DIY) MoneySaving, and Old style MoneySaving boards. Not as easy as quoting one person
If you are set to standard or enhanced reply box, you should seeabove the reply box.
copy the text from the poster into the reply box. highlight it, then click that symbol
the text that was highlighted will not havein front of it and [ /quote] after it.
and the result will be like this:stuff in a box
if you want to, you can also write =username into the first bracket
e.g:
highlight:
write stuff
then clickmakes it
write stuff
and you change it to:
[ QUOTE=anyones name ]write stuff
result:anyones_name wrote:write stuff0 -

I see
I think I prefer the two window thing.
I knew about just quoting with no names but sometimes it would be easier to have the names as well.glad wrote:you need more than one window open and in your second window click quote then copy and paste it into the reply box in your first windowsra555 wrote:Not as easy as quoting one person

You have to put "=" between Quote and the name
e.g. Quote=sra
no spaces!0 -

Think that worked. Now I just have to remember how to do it! In my new basket: A slightly whiffy blanket; Racy’s 2nd favorite jumper; remains of a slipper; 2 sticks (1 chewed); bouncy ball collection (4); Racy’s iPod :shhh: and a large sock (found under Racy's bed)0 -
:j halfway there :j
It's the two windows thing. Must remember to use more than one quote too!0
