I have been told that Eon have uploaded their lower electricity prices for SaveOnline 11 prices and I can still save £60 with switching to OVO.

What do folk think? Should I move to OVO or change to SaveOnline 11 incase they drop their prices again?

Really can't decide - if I move will I have to pay straight away to OVO or would it just be after 3 months? Don't want to owe anything to Eon after final bill and also have to pay OVO at the same time if I can avoid it....

This is good switching experience for you. Keep it up.

Basically the timing of the payments to OVO will depend on the payment terms for the tariff, normally fixed monthly direct debit but could be quarterly variable direct debit. You are a party to the decision. In the case of fixed monthly direct debit the OVO collections will start soon after the start date is reached.

The transfer readings are not taken until around the start date. They are provided (by you) to OVO only who send them to E.ON. Therefore E.ON cannot issue their final bill until a short time after you switch.

Be alert to E.ON issuing an "estimated" bill purporting to be a final bill but which is only an "interim" final bill. I don't know whether that is true (E.ON rep?) but there have been posts about that. An "estimated interim final bill" is the same as any "estimated" bill. If you want, submit customer reads and ask for the bill to be re-issued to your customer reads.

As a switching customer you do need to keep on top of the money. The key is to engage with both parties but not to be intimidated by the losing supplier.

Given the particularly "agressive" form of "spring balancing" practiced by E.ON, do you really want to remain a customer?

I will give it a whirl, what have I to lose for 12 months?

Which switching site should I do it through or go to OVO direct?

Up to you, particulary if you are looking for cashback or "offers". Personally I have found https://www.theenergyshop.com consistently satisfactory, though cashback wasn't a requirement.
