    Allowing to port the number within the same provider is not rocket science, but just that the providers being grumpy:mad:

    I've also had O2 move a number to a new contract before, there was no question about this and no statement that it was a 'goodwill gesture' :- Obviously this is no guarantee the policy will continue in the future.

    I record all my calls, if the company don't like that then tough as they tend to record all calls as well.
    Transcripts of calls are good, and if they state the call never happened, call recording is a sure fire method of them losing in court.
