About 2 weeks ago I was looking round for a New LED TV and bralx came up the cheapest.

When I looked at the website, something didn't seem right.

First thing I did was, look for an address. No Address and only a mobile.

If bralx was a legitimate company, they would have a company address on the website. Glad I stuck to my gut instinct and did not buy form them.

Always look for an address and other contact information. If You can't find an address or it's a PO Box, then it's very suspicious and would avoid buying from them.
    Say No to smart meters!
    Search for, stopsmartmeters . org
  • Running a "whois" search on bralx.com gives these contact details:

    Registrant
    Bralx ltd
Frol Volgin volginfrol (at) yahoo dot com
    34 Hexham Road
    G83 INVERUGLAS
    United Kingdom
    Tel: +44.7559600781

If you Google-Map the address, there doesn't seem to be a Hexham Road in the G83 postcode! There's a hydro-electric power station, one house and a caravan site!

Searching Companies House gives no result for 'Bralx Ltd' on any database. If it's a limited company, it MUST be registered with Companies House. This would suggest that it is NOT a limited company, and therefore they are breaking UK trading laws by calling themselves a limited company when they are clearly not, not to mention the illegal trading practices.
  • The website for Bralx is exactly the same as a fake company claiming to be bargain universe which is actually a toy store in Manchester. Sorry, but Hope your bank can get the money back for you because mine couldnt.

There are lot of these sites surfacing more so due to the recession, more people are looking at cutting costs these days and these sites offer cheaper than average prices on their goods which reels potential customers in.

Never ever make a payment via bank transfer or payment where you are not covered especially to unknown new sites appearing on the web without being 100% sure that it is kosher.

Some of these sites will take credit/debit cards as forms of payment but these cards will be declined for whatever reason and you will be asked to pay via bank transfer, they will try their damndest to get your money even offering discounts or free next day delivery if you pay by bank transfer or any other form of unsecured payment.
  • I work in the appliance industry and came accross Bralx.co.uk about a month ago which was a fraudulent website.I believe a new site has been set up.

    w w w . w i l l i o n . n e t

Same as before, only a mobile number (which no one answers)
Nothing on Google streetview and payment via bank transfer only.

The prices on the site are too good to be true!!!!

Please pass this post on to as many places as possible as i know a lot of people lost money through Bralx and this website is even more convincing.

Check it out for yourself and let me know your thoughts.

Never, ever pay for anything by bank transfer. If credit card companies won't trust them neither should you. Personally, I won't trust companies that only accept Paypal.
