hi, those that have tried this do you mix it with milk or water? thanks

you mix it with water, one shake is 250ml (half a pint)
  • The date is best before rather than use by.

Re thyroid: ask the GP for the actual numbers rather than taking their word for it. Their view of 'normal' results leaves me feeling awful. I have to be verging on hyper to feel ok. You could spend hours on the net reading about why levothyroxine doesn't work though.

Really good price but anyone just starting out with these... I too tried them on an earlier offer at £7.99 but the headaches I had were horrendous!!!

I really didnt mind the taste but could not even function they were really that bad x

    So I gave up after 4 shakes x :(

i find out when i have these shakes i only get headaches when i dont have enough liquid..u have to drink alot..this is good as water sort of fills u up n stops u nibbling...but the downside is that u visit your loo more!!!;)

I drink water anyway and I wasnt hungry at all, just within 2 hours I couldnt function properly as the headaches were that bad and I did continue trying another 3 shakes.
Theyre just not for me x :(
  • Hi,

I've tried this before, and the shakes were fairly sweet, but the headaches were crazy! All the time, but I think that was also because I wasn't drinking enough water, you do need to ensure your drinking lots of water.

In terms of the sell/best before dates, Best Before means the product may not tste as good after that date, nothing to do with safety of the product, sell by date is just an instruction to the retailer and use by means use by that date as this is usually on things like milk, eggs etc and should be followed for safety reasons.
