Oh my goodness. After many years of disgust at meal replacement drinks, I never thought I'd say - I've bought them! Like others, I have put on quite a bit of weight over the past 18months, not sure why, but it will not shift, If I do this and it still dosen't shift, I can go back to badger my doctor again. Hopefully though it will work!

I think it is common to get headaches when you cut out carbohydrates. From what I have read, after about a week they go and you feel great.
  • isn't better to get some fiber?

Wow that's a really good price. I've been doing it for 5 days now and have lost 4lbs. First pack came from Superdrugs @£20/7 days, have just bought a 10 day variety pack for £29 so this is definitely a bargain.
My headaches went quickly and I was only starving for the first two days, but I started on the weekend so i wouldn't be a total grump at work and sleeping longer on weekends helped me on those hard first days on the shakes.

Got 2 just to test out. The first couple of days dieters usually will see some weight loss but that's usually just water weight. Need to keep dieting in order to actually lose some weight.
  • Thankyou OP, at this price it's worth trying. I rarely eat breakfast or lunch (still overweight though lol ) so hopefully this will encourage me to have a shake at breakfast and lunch without feeling blurgh :T
  • Giving it a go, at that price I can't resist. fingers crossed! (harder to snap off the chocolate squares like that too ) Thanks OP

Up for a try!! Normally use slimfast but will try this for a much needed kickstart after the festive season. Ordered 2 weeks to see how it goes.

    Thanks OP

i brought this last time aswell. i started taking them on monday but i am finding that the shakes dont fill you up and the allowable snack is not enough too e.g half a pear. guess it works for some but not me. worth a try though.
