Thanks for the link and advice, phoning Retentions (0870 444 1820) really did get results. I've been on Talktalk for a good few years so I can't guarantee anyone else will get this.
I managed to get a new N router, 12 month contract at £19.05 a month total for the full term, TalkTalk Plus. Wahoo!!
(I'll double-check it goes through properly, obviously, as TT can be a bit hit and miss with their customer service).0 -
Haha, could well be..I've had some stunningly inept conversations with customer service.
Talktalk's prices are stupendous, just try not to speak to anyone. If you're really in trouble and can get internet access, go straight to the forums..no messing about on there. That's what I tend to do now, unless I absolutely must speak to a human.0
