Lainey How lovely to have your Mum and Dad's letters, and your Grandma's china and glass. When my mum died I couldn't imagine at first that I would be able to bear to use any of her things, but after a while it just seemed like a really nice way to remember her. I still have the bowl that went with her food mixer, and two Pyrex baking dishes. She died in 1979, so they are doing well! (I got rid of the actual food mixer when its speed kept going up and down I can just imagine her giggling about it.)
I have a few of my dear Dad's books too, and it's nice to remember him laughing over them (the "Berry" books by Dornford Yates, very dated now but very funny in places.)
