can someone please explain MF boxes and what you have to do to get them, I've tried reading the thread but I'm not finding the answer.
I'm itching to thank someone
Cheers0 -
some one explained it on the last page 36.
MF seem to have a promo where you're meant to spend £15 to get a free box (available in black or red, tied with a bow of contrasting colour) with sample bits in it, however some clever person realised it scans in as free regardless of spending that amount, and regardless of buying any MF products. Pick your SA carefully, avoid paying at make-up counters, and prob worth buying a few other bits you can explain it away as "oh its free over £5/free with this random bit of non-MF makeup" etc, depending how brave you're feeling0 -
today in exeter i bought a hallf price mf lip gloss, a drink some rainsins for the kids plus two max factor boxes, one in red one in black at the photo till upstairs, he didnt even question them, paid just over 5.00 to get the 5.00 skincare voucher
walked downstairs then bought a botanics packet of wipes and some shaving foam and used my 100 point out of the magazine leaving pence to pay
then walked outside and gave mum one of the boxes as she was outside with the twins driving her around the bendIf you want the rainbow you have to go through the rain.

sammyc wrote:Hi, do you use a voucher for the avent starter kit as I have a voucher and have tried using it with the kit by itself but was told it had to be used when buying 2 bottle sets and as i'm breastfeeding didn't really need to buy any bottles, I wasn't sure if it goes through the till on it's own? thanks
hi i bought six of these avent starter kits all for 50p each yesturday in exmouth, they are still marked as 50p each and you do not need any vouchers, they are a bargain for 50pIf you want the rainbow you have to go through the rain.

Popped in to boots today to spend my skincare vouchers, couldn't find anything in mens range worth getting, but did pick up the botanics wipes (forgot to use botanics coupon with customer services added on later!)
Purchased 2 huggies and tried to use 2x 100 pointers sent recently in the post, but only one worked.
Also tried to use 150 points on a £20 spend. I spent £21.97 but the points wouldn't go on! So a bit frustrated.
Also purchased a smile toothbrush and used 1/3 off any baby toothbrush/toothpaste, wasn't sure if it would work with the 3 for 2 so didn't try!!
Good shop all in all as I used £20 vouchers from Pigsback.
and received almost £6 back in points in addition to the £3.50 customer services are adding on!! So obviously now have another two skin care vouchers so will get another botanics wipes and use the 100 pointer this time! LOL.
Will search thread to see if I missed any bargains, the machine was rubbish for deals today."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
I sneaked out of work this morning (couldn't wait any longer) and headed for Boots in Kensington. Spotted loads of red boxes, but just one black box. I assumed the contents of the black box are better, since there was only one left, so I grabbed it. I chose a reduced lipgloss @3.49 and took them both to the pharmacy. I paid with points. I then asked at the Benefit counter for the sharpeners. They only had the 3.50 ones left, so didn't bother getting any.
On my way out of the store I found a double voucher:D didn't have time to spend it though. I had to dash back to work before anyone noticed I'd nipped out. Once back at work I opened my MF box only to find the eye shadow was damagedOn close inspection the box was also damaged. The moral of this story is; don't go shopping when you are in a hurry. Things are bound to go wrong...as I found out today.
zztopgirl, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. I hope your test results are good. Best of luck xxx0 -
hi treated myself to an ipod today from boots 4gb for £129 in a pink colour.
Used a double points coupon and an extra 150points coupon from ac machine.I had £100 in vouchers and paid £29 on debit card so i got 1032 plus 150=£11.82 which isn't bad.I then went upstairs to get skin perfection feel the differnece vitamins which were £8.99 but i had a healthcare mailing coupon for 60% off which meant i only paid £3.50 but used another 2 vouchers -250 points for buying those vitamins and 150 for spending over £8 on vitamins THEN used the 60%off so got 400 points, boots paid me 50p to take the box away!(my pleasure).
Used my parenting voucher to get 2 cameras free and also got the changing bag with some nappies.so spent £3.75 on huggies but got 2 cameras worth £8.99 each free and a £24.99 changing bag so saved £43ish again.Love can tame the wildest0 -
