  • hi i bought six of these avent starter kits all for 50p each yesturday in exmouth, they are still marked as 50p each and you do not need any vouchers, they are a bargain for 50p

Does anyone know if there are any bottles or teats in these kits?

I usually buy bottles/teats from the car boot for feeding our lambs & as we are about to start lambing I could do with a few. Ive not been able to get to CB lately ( awful weather & when I did go I couldnt find any bottles) but Im sure I could manage a trip to boots :D
  • My work friend emailed this morning to say did i have time to pop into town at lunch - she wanted to go to boots! (she's not a bootser, doesnt even have an advantage card regardless of how much i nag her!)

So on the way down i discover she actually wants to buy max factor foundation! :D I thought we were definatly in for a free box (or 2!) but alas they didnt have any  - i even asked the SA if she had one anywhere (felt brave seen as we were genuinely buying something!) but she said they'd sold out. bummer.

I did give the SA my advantage card when she paid though - normal points +150 extra points for over £25 spend + 100pts botanics voucher - all for zero cost to me hehe

They have a small 4 oz wide neck bottle in (no teat tho), a plastic feeding spoon and a baby food storage pot inside. The coupons inside have expired. A voucher to get one of these for free used to be sent from the parenting club but it has now changed to 'free newborn avent teat pack' when you buy 2 avent bottles.

Anyone use Intuition ladies razor blades???
My local boots has reduced the 3 pack from £5.99 to £2.49. Don't know if this is national or local. :D

    transaction 1 & 2:
    2 pks x Intuition blades £2.99 each
Nivea mens sensitive shaving foam £2.69
    Minus £2.50 mens skincare voucher
Total to pay: £5.17 + new vouchers ;)

Had to ask for vouchers as miserable SA told me they had none left even though they were right in front of me!

Yes, I've still got some from when thye had coupons on them so I hope it is nationwide. Also to be able to make use up a mens £2.50 voucher, still have several left but I dont remember using up all the ladies ones, very odd

Tried to take back Glyco Peel thingie but SA wouldn't have any of it. Haven't even opened it but she said it was cosmetic & they don't take any cosmetics back! She was quite rude about it. Made me feel like i was trying to steal something :o

Must depend on the store as i took 2 back yesterday, 1 opened all the bits without the box, & 1 still boxed, have got big nasty painfull spots:mad: she must have been able to see them, they're huge:eek: anyway she was fine about it, i didn't have receipt so spent same amount in store, on thick foundation to cover spots up:rotfl:

  • i picked up a copy of the new boots magazine - guess this means the 10 points on botanics vouchers are going to be really hard to find now! if any1 has any please, please PM me, iv got other coupons to swap for!!!

the coupons in the new mag look pretty rubbish apart from:

£3 offwhen you buy any product from the sanctury spa's skincare range but its only vaid FROM the 28/02/07 so does that mean if you were going to combine it with the current £2.50 off skincare vouchers that you could only do it on the 28th?

also whats everyones thoughts on whether it would work in conjunction with the 200 points on sanctury vouchers from the ACM? edit: just checked&these expire on the 27th so thats a no-brainer!

oh almost forgot, got a lovely lady at the pharmacy counter in sauciehall street, glasgow, gave me the box even tho i dint buy any MF, they queried it & were told to make an executive decision by someone, she said iv already decided, you can have it, how nice was that! also i mistakenly had brought my mens 2.50 vouchers and was trying to buy 3 x botanics wipes but she swapped me them fo womens ones - which we know are much better for the likes of completely free liblm & getting paid £1!!
  • the avent starter pack also has baby skincare samples and breast pads

Tried the box again as I saw a new SA, they knew the offer as well, so I slunked off, bought loads of PUCCA soaps for 10p each, 2 Santuary body spritz at £1 each (200points extra didn't go on), and some lunch, and hairdye, so vouchers back, then found a double voucher. Asked the MF SA about lipglosses (no such offer apparently!!), so left boxless. But off work tomorrow and looking at where I can travel to explore tomorrow.
