dont want to upset anyone but I can understand trying to get things as cheap as possible and using vouchers and acm machines for extra points and stuff, but surely buying stuff and knowingly trying to take it back to get more money out of them isnt right

as I said dont want to offend anyone :)

I have been wondering this as well???? Why do you buy the things if you don't want them. It seems to cause so much trouble to return them - easier to only buy things you want or need in my opinion!!!
:)I used to have a life............................... before MSE!!

I bought an ipod with my points-that i saved all year for -and now it is not working. I have my receipt from 12/12 does the fact you paid with point saffect anything or should you still get it returned/repaired if it is faulty?

May be wrong but you could always try going directly to Apple? I know you can take any ipod into the london shop anyway for them to look at.
  • wow ive seen the no7 mirror its lovely!!!! I did not realise it was so big i wondered what everyone was going gaga over. Shame i did not have my parenting voucher as i am waiting for it to come or i would have bought it. Bought the pedicure set free with no 7 voucher also the facial and body massager in another transaction free as well as both are 4.99 half price. Was going to get hair trimmer. Does it work and wont the hair grow back like a beard or something if we use it?
Emersons green bristol is really good for electrical stuff
:j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.

I'm finding this thread really dangerous :) I so enjoy getting a bargain I'm having to really focus hard on whether (to use martin's mantra) I want, need and can afford it :) You guys are all just too good and too tempting :rotfl:

the trimmer is ok for light downy type hairs but anything erm....more south and it struggles - you can really hear the battery struggling (overshare i know and maybe i should have just gone with the garden strimmer due to lack of attention in some regions over winter!!) :o

Unbelievable....... You can't believe how suspicious the SA was when you weren't actually telling the truth (see second quote above from your post on 01.03.07). You then had the cheek to report her!!!!!

Theres no need to be nasty, and why go to the trouble of searching Melons posts?

That in itself seems suspicious to me, it seems you are out to cause trouble

This is a lovely friendly board, lets try and keep it that way please. :j
