Morning All
Thinking of Ian and LL today.
Well I'm up and I've made a start in the LR. Loads to do and I think we're going for a walk in the woods at some point today with the dog and the kids.
Have a good day all

Dot went to sleep finally at 6:45 and Squeak was up at 7.. they are so not sleeping today.. gggrrrr My one weekend at home each month with just these 2 and they have to spoil it by being demonic and making sure noone sleepsI am so tired I really wish the others were not coming back today so I could have a few days off the school run and appointments (9am Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and 11am Thursday this week) *sigh* I may truly hate absent part-time can't-be-bothered parents!

Morning allI cannot believe noone has posted since 7:15... has everyone been sucked off the planet and there is just me left??????
I was at a party, so bit of a slow start after a very late night.
Mainly pottering today, kids all have various homework, forms etc to do. Ironing later with ski sunday and dancing on ice.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Good morning!
Thinking of diva and all her friends this morning - purple socks at the ready!
DS1 has landed safely back in the UK :j and will be winging his way to Manchester soon, I hope. He should be home by teatime at the latest.I love him to bits, but give him about an hour before he's driving me up the wall again.
Meat is in the SC for meat and potato pie, WM and TD have been on and will need to be loaded again in a minute. DW has been emptied. I was a lazy moo last night, but a lot of time was spent on the laptop researching alternative jobs which would require training. I'm building up to having a plan.
Next: more laundry, bathroom, kitchen and school stuff. I don't think I'll go anywhere today as I don't really have the time. Things should be better after Friday.0 -
Just saw LL's post on FB, cannot believe it has been a year already since the lovely Diva left us, will light a purple wax tart in her honour today, thoughts with all her family and friends. xxx
HHC @ 11.30 if anyone wants to join me..........:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

I really, really didn't need the car to break down today!:mad::eek:
Had my day all nicely organised and now I've got to sort recovery, plan journey to work tomorow (unless we have snow, which isn't likely), plan school run, start researching new (to us) car if repair is too expensive. Friends recommend leasing, but I'm not sure. Another two weeks and I've at least had half-term to sort it all.
Well, at least it's parked outside a friends house up our street. DH took it for him to have a look as it was making awful noises. He doesn't mind it staying there until tomorrow and will even talk to the garage for me. :A0
