Doing purple today; also been along and lit a candle for Diva, as chances are I won't get online tomorrow.
LW - please stay... you do FAR more than most of us, and we like hearing from you. And we've had this discussion about you overdoing it before. We're with MrLW on this one. A little light dusting and planning his dinner are more than enough. Congrats on getting rid of CAMRA... bet you have more energy when that's goneWe'll have to set you a reading or cross-stitch challenge to fill the time. And don't forget, you're on LIGHT duties (oh... and I forgot... deep cleaning the loo seeing as it needs doing while MrLW is out
)
Do you think its to early for another cuppa ? x
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Noisy things taken to cinema in 2 cars. They are big, too. But they require little input from me, other than provision of victuals. They have been oohing and aahing over my furbabies:D (my gerbils)
I have ironed the washing and put the socks to air. I treated myself to a can of spray starch when I went into town this morning - never used it before. I have a RIGID handkerchief!:rotfl:
I also decluttered the BiL's unsold e bay items to the CS *fling* and an ashtray my mother (who has NEVER smoked) gave me to list was also slipped in the bag, as I don't think it would sell on ebay. The lead crystal ashtray which was one of two crystal items my Grandad got on retirement I have kept. I like glassware:DDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I have managed 2 x WM today and have lots of things hanging on my new electric airer. I got it for my b'day last week. It is wonderful for me as I can't hang clothes outside very often.

I just got my mortgage statement through and the monthly payment has been reduced by £25 due to my overpaymentsI also owe £1000 less than my calculations had accounted for as the interest rate is lower since I owe less
This year I am focussing on overpayment on the bank loan in the hope of getting it paid off a year early.. That will free up more cash to enable larger overpayments on the mortgage so it does make long term sense.
And I currently am expecting £66 in the next quidco payment run so not a bad January in all.. so to saving for the last 4 windows replacing
Fish cleaned out

Well done!
Of course she is worse now. She knows she has the almost undivided attention of her audience, so she has to play to the crowd!
I am trying to sleep. Minion is on a sleepover and DD1 is staying so we can go to see the Chinese New Year parades and stuff in London in the morning. If we don't sleep in, that is.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Have got the house back to myself and am loving it. Took MIL to airport yesterday and then went to visit friends, came home and pottered and working my way through my mammoth pile of washing. Did 3. Loads last night  and have put the washer on timer for the reds, that then leaves 2 loads of whites to do. have been washing all bens next size up clothes which is why I've so much washing at the moment.
Plan for today is metro centre and Costco with friends, but before going out at 11 ish I want to do the following
Bottles washed and sterilised
Downstairs hoovered through
Ironing put away
Table in living room wiped down
Ironing off radiators and sorted
Nappies sorted out and all size 2's gathered up to pass onto dh's cousin
Ok Ben now zonked again so I'm going to get a bit more sleep.
Will light purple candle in house for Diva this afternoon and will be wearing purple cardi and undies today in memory xx0
